That's heart breaking man. All that effort and to miss out on the money/xp rewards.

I understand this IRL, but in a game the stakes aren't as high. The elements got the better of me this time.

Yea, I had a feeling for the whole race that a disconnection was coming, but on the last lap! haha
But I was satisfied with my drive. After the HSR round when I made that mistake with 4 laps to go and lost a few positions, I told myself that I'm not making anymore mistakes.

I had a go at Spa in the same CLK-LM. Full rain, 100% surface water but with the Track Edge/Wet Track set to Low.
It was less difficult to handle. Maybe that is an option for round 5 if we choose to keep the weather on and if we do keep it on, how about we all agree on a particular weather setting so all are happy?

I don't mind either way, but if it's weather on, then I suggest a changeability of >= 5, so that it actually varies during the race. I would prefer the track edge to be set to real though, as a wet track is meant to be difficult. Keeping it on track is half the fun during a long race.

The settings that you posted above sound good to me.

I set my CLK LM at first for dry roads then tweaked it as best I could to suit full wet conditions if the rain did fall... I was ready for the heavens to open!

The top 4 are close in points! nice... should make for a tense race!

Actually, due to the points system, the top 4 are not really that close.
Assuming a race time of 2hrs, each point will require a 30s lead.

Aza has to improve on his last 94.12, to 99.53 to win, if you do not improve on your worst round. That is +15s to the round winner, so it is still possible.
Bonus is the one to watch, as he only needs 97.45 to win, if you do not improve. So only ~+70s to the round winner. So if he turns up, he will probably make it. (and I will be back in 4th )

Seido I might rock up for the final round given that the DTM series will be finished at that point, I'll see how things pan out but I am interested, just for a bit of fun, I'll let you know for sure at a later date.

These are the only cars I have from the list. Times are from the first timed lap. RM tyres in full dry conditions.

Evening,

MiKi pointed out that his BMW M3 GT-R couldn't reach the 828 BHP limit. Since I don't have that car I couldn't test it earlier.

So the new BHP limit is 670.
I just ran a new lap in the CLK-LM and got a 3:44.2 on the first timed lap compared to a 3:40.9 at the previous 828 BHP limit.

MiKi, what's the max BHP for the McLaren F1 GTR? you have it ay?



Please let me know what you all want to do with the weather for this round and which day you prefer the race to be on Saturday or Sunday 3/4th Dec.

I have the M3 set to online Seido, so feel free to tear it up the track. If you do have a go, see what times it will do on softs to compensate for the 200 HP loss. With my Maclaren F1 GTR, I can meet HP but not weight restriction. If I could jump in for real, my 56 kg would be enough to make it legit. (Yes, I weigh as much as a shadow of a fart) lol

Geezus! You blokes are scrawny eh, I'm 194cm, tippin the scales at 105kg's atm, I don't thiiiiink I'm fat... haha, nah I work out alot so a bit of muscle mass makes me fairly heavy, not good for the knee's!

Seido, are the cars on the eligible list available straight out of the new car dealerships? I don't think I have any of them in my garage so will have to try to procure something.

They are all Standard cars.

I have a few of them that I can lend out for the race if anyone doesn't find one soon.
I always keep my out for race cars after each event I do...
