I'm glad someone got something out of it, other than frustration.
Had it not happened, I think we might have had a battle on our hands, our pace was almost identical. I believe you would have trumped regardless, but at least it might have been closer than ~20s.
I did the same as you, started 4th and then dead last 14th by the top of the mountain.
It was head down bum up for the remainder of the race and I managed to claw my way back to 6th overall, 2nd in Div.
3 podiums from 3 races in this car.. I'm pretty stoked about that.

No worries mate, we all make mistakes and that's how we learn. Appreciate the redress for the final corner incident also.
Not that it really made too much difference. I'm just unable to extract any pace out of this car. Not sure why

I was surprised at your relative lack of pace. Hopefully next season will be better.

No worries, I actually backed a little onto tarmac myself trying to recover, luckily somebody just grazed me so it didn't seem to end badly.

Was that @Apex_64 that pulls out from behind @Ian Cannan and then sees you sideways? I assume apex is in bumper cam or something similar as the in car view in the video shows exactly that you can't see anything until pulling out into clear air.

That's another benefit to me when using chase cam, as I would've seen that accident and known to stay right lol

If I stayed right, or reacted just a fraction quicker, or Jhonno didn't roll back slightly I could have avoided him.
All behind would have been ok if I could have, so I really caused the big pile up by going for the inside overtake approaching Skyline, and then my old reflexes let me down big time trying to avoid Jhonno.

I and @SpeedyTyres were right behind you and luckily you ghosted for us but caught out all behind us. Also after watching the replay I must apologise to @Matthyus for reversing across track and causing him damage, I didn't realise at the time so, sorry mate.

All good Emmo. Severe lack of lady luck in this race. Rejoining at any track with severe walls is next to nigh on impossible. Perhaps a conversation about a higher level of ghosting could be applied for tracks with super close walls?

Heavy damage would have resulted in a few disconnects I think..

I was in the black n white car. I'm sure everyone gets equally effed !, but I really feel like it happens to me alot. Had no where to go, right to the back of the field
