    Cool. We have a few replies regarding a Sunday pre season race.

    I hope to be online from about 8pm EST, jump in if you see me online. Will run some short races on a couple of the provisional tracks and maybe a couple of different tracks.

    Will mainly be a get-together to see how we go for compatibility issues and network drop-outs. Add in some fun and testing of the new McLaren MP4-12C.

    No prizes or anything, just jump in and have some fun.

    As I said before I won't be competing this season but I may be able to make some of the races so I'll take the Black colour I was using last night... but not sure if it was FIRE or SAPPHIRE...

    Props to all that attended the pre-season running last night. It was good to get a feel for the car, and the competition :D

    Darko was setting good laps in qualis, Barra and I had an awesome battle at Cape Ring, and Stuart was pushing me in the early laps at Nurburgring. Veno, Dutch and I were running close at Trial Mtn, plus Stumbles had good pace there too. So I think it's definately going to be tight.

    This was my first time in the Mclaren on RH tyres and was surprised at what a big difference it makes compared to the practice I did on SS. The car is far more compliant on the RH; I like it, but it's maybe a touch too easy to drive.

    Consistency is my main aim for the season. Coming from Div 1, I made far too many mistakes to really challenge the mid-pack there so i'm hoping to improve on that and get some close wheel-to-wheel racing this season.

    Lads I just noticed Div2 starts half an hour earlier than the other divisions. Im in Vic with a young family and will struggle to make 8pm race start some nights let alone qualifying. Any chance of making us the same time as the other Divs so I can participate in most quals? Understand if not but would really appreciate it.

    Can we get a group consensus here guys. I'm easy with half an hour later, but racing will have to start at 8:30 sharp. If you're late, then it's bad luck. A lot of people work Monday morning, (I have to be up at 4:30 am), so don't want to run any later than I have to.

    The Endurance finale will be run a little earlier due to longer race time... Is that ok Veno??

    Comment guys, need to know asap.

    Darko, question on last nights prac i did in your lounge........Did you have racing meds as an option in the tires?? I did a few 15s with a best of 15.1, but when i was with stumbles, firewind and veno i couldnt get anywhere near to a 15.....best was about a 16.5.

    Am thinking i must have had the racing meds instead... :?

    8 Qualy and 830 start fine with me should be all wrapped up by 915 to 930. Could probably look at making qualifying only 10 or 15 mins if need to find time. It seems our qualifying runs longer than the race some times and a limit on qualifying puts more pressure on getting a good lap early and on your first set of tyres and full fuel. It whould also make people turn up on time rather than join while qualifying has already started which can cause problems with glitch and connections.
    Could start room at 8 start qualifying 815 with a timed start for 15 mins, but this might have repercussions on those with internet issues. Whould be good if all could make sure they have the best connection they can get for their area, use Ethernet cable etc.

    yeah i agree bonus, 1 lap around here is 1:20 or less so 30 mins for qualy prob isn't needed
