Guys, further to my opening post, and 2 above, with a full grid of 15 cars & possible safety car i am not sure how we will go with any network probs.......

Again, given the interest if we need to make changes on the run to accommodate everyone then that is what we will do. Its a fun / serious series so i dont want any fights over driving standards or the network !!!!!!

Run your cars in, and brace yourself for some fun racing....the little bit of testing i did with some of the guys was good fun..

NOTE : All 3 drivers in team 1 will receive points for the team championship.

1st - 30 pts
2nd - 27
3rd - 24

14 - 2
15 - 1

DNF gets points for last or the final position if there is a DNS

DNS gets points that are left or based on MY ruling.

Hope this makes sense.

Penalties will be on and normal ROOZ driving standards apply. That said I DONT WANT TO HAVE WATCH REPLAYS TO HAND OUT PENALTIES !! Fun series = redress on track please !!

It would be great if you could do it aussie...

As i said, ive got no idea if it will work ok......and you may get bored out of your brain watching a map for half hour to see if some one crashes. It could be a diabolical failure and i may ditch it after 1 race .......

My plan was.....

S/C sits at the end of pit lane.

S/C driver watches race and if they see triangles off track S/C message sent and everyone lines up behind safety car, double file in race order.

Race resumes when all cars are in line behind S/C. Should only take 1 lap.

No pitting under safety car, but drivers may follow safety car into pit lane at the end of the S/C period.

It sounds ok in theory, but never know till we try it

Might have a test night next tuesday and see if we can load up my room with a full grid. 15 cars should make for some great racing

Mics will be OFF just to try to help the network cope with the load, perhaps with the exception of S/C driver so all know when the S/C is deployed and when the S/C is returning to pit lane.

Will try it all out then and see if it works next tuesday.......say at 8:30

Have to say Stu, when the PACE CAR drives off from the pack will have to make the rule:

WHEN the PACE CAR drives off and leaves the pack after the field has been a dressed ( usually around the 1st/2nd LAST corner )

ALL car are to STAY in formation until LENDING RACE CAR hit the finally straight, then it's on for young and old again!!!!

What SPEED do you want PACE CAR to drive at to control the PACK ?
80km/h?
120km/h?
Or do you want to TEST it out first??

Should use the Camaro Race car from last season with its livery would fit in well.

I have the gtr pace car I was thinking of using. I can friend it to you Aussie if you like.

Will test it all out next Tuesday guys and see how it works.

Just reused I am out the 17th as well, my birthday and missus taking me out, might have to make it Wednesday or later in the week. I'm a goose !!
