GT5 TUESDAY NIGHT NASCAR

HI Guys

Been toying around with this idea for a while........Thinking of running a Tuesday night NASCAR series. (from about 8:30 EST). The hand brake is generally out that night !!

Nascar, no tuning as per sunday league

Tires, race soft / medium depending on testing

5 race series

1. Daytona
2. Indy road
3. High Speed ring
4. Daytona road
5. Indy

1 lap qually, rolling start for something different, road courses will be grid start with false start on.

Race length about 45 mins.

Teams will be allowed and individual scoring as well (like anons series) but the teams will be determined by me to try to even them out and keep things interesting.

Look to start after enforcers series more than half way through...

Get in quick to pick your car guys, only one of each on the grid..(can pick different year though, EG if 2011 M&M car gone can pick the 2010)

was thinking of doing something really radical and having a safety car (need to find a driver) at each race..any crash or off road brings out the safety car and then the field bunches back up and once all are back in order let everyone go at it again...

I think this will start well after season 8 starts.

I am just looking at what sort of support it might get, and it looks promising.

I don't want to overload drivers with different series though, so will look to start a short series ( see proposed calander of only 5 weeks) after enforcer gets his thing off and running.

Am waiting for my good tele to come back before I test and stuff to hard to read everything ATM.

As far as season 8 is concerned, most guys dont prac more than 4 nights a week so for the majority it wont have any affect.....

My main concern was too much racing would maybe stop people racing on sundays which i dont want...thats why i was waiting till your season got underway, it looks like it is going to be popular so thats a good thing
