    Hmmm is there any particular reason for the penalties to be based on championship and not actual race finish? I just think maybe race finish is fairer, like what we did last season in the HTO series.

    Why I say that, is that the winner of a race gets heaps of points and takes a big penalty hit (which is fair). But because they are so far ahead, they take another hit next race too even if they are at the back of the field because of the point advantage for P1.
