The same could be said about other drivers, like Sir nige, who is in div 3 but pretty close to my pace. So my question is, is moving only one person into a different group based on previous knowledge of their speed and overriding their quali lap fair for others whos quali lap isnt respective of their pace? Just saying, tbought it was wort bringing up
Tbh I said the same thing about SirNige when I saw he was in my division, WTF! lol I was expecting to be with people with no wheels and broken controllers or using Vita remote play with one eye closed and lag.
But is it fair for lower Div drivers to compete with a driver who quite clearly should be higher up? I'll add that emuegg11 definitely should be in a higher division. He has pace. Or was that a one off those Friday nights? No arguments, just thought I'd bring another side to the story.
There's always shuffling of drivers from the announcement of the initial division lists up until round 1 regardless of which season it may be. With it being season 1 you'd expect there to be even more shuffling than usual as you can only take so much out of what a qualifying lap in a ginetta GT5 says about a drivers ability. The mods goal is to provide divisions which generate the closest possible racing, minimising the disparity between the top and bottom driver of each division and in order for this to be achieved some shuffling is required.
Another factor is that the tiny low powered Ginetta is a lot different to a Rear engined, rear wheel drive GT3 putting out over 500bhp. Plus others have an ability for one lap pace that may not get shown over a race distance, so like CAGM said, a lot of shuffling will be in order possibly. Let's just leave it as is, if anyone has a stupid gap over the rest of the field, i'm sure the mod's may consider a mid-season change.
