CAR FOR SEASON 10

    ok guys....poll 2 will be closed tonight for the season 10 car.

    Is apparent that the "majority" want a FR car between 400-500 PP.

    I have spent a bit of time looking at cars that fit into that scope and am thinking of putting up the following cars for a vote. I will list cars that are a variation of PP and age to give some different choices.....i dont have time to test the 24 cars that fitted into the guide lines, but will start testing a few over the next few nights. Anyone else is more than welcome to test and put forward their thoughts.

    For Es benifit, only one of the cars below will be used for season 10. I have grouped them in PP order, lowest to highest so you can get an idea of where the different cars sit......

    I think there is a good mix of nimble, old and new ..... surely we can come up with a good series from one of them !!!

    I hope to narrow it down to 3 cars in the next week based on discussion and testing......its a busy time of year so your help would be greatly appreciated to narrow it down .......

    E's probably thinking that we're going to use both cars from one of the groups in season 10, which I'd assume isn't the case given the Sunday league is meant to be on an even playing field - no advantages gained from having a different car or tuning.

    Correct stig, if he read the last line of the OP he would have read that we will narrow it down to 3 cars in the next week or so......grrrrrr !!!

    Thanks for the hard work stu. I'll do some testing over the next week when I can find time.. Shooting from the hip I'm inclined to vote the m3... But I'll see..

    I just can't warm to the idea of the camaro/mustang, I don't believe we would have as good racing as in a M3 or 350Z RS, that looks good too.

    Not sure how close they are, BUT we will not be running different cars. It would be one or the other......

    I think the 350 RZ would be a good car.....

    hope i have enough cash in the account.....will buy them all tonight and give em a crack...

    Yeah I know mate ;) just wondering what the handling is like in the chev, I know the muzzy handles like a bucket of warm custard in standard trim.

    the 350z rs would be great but it is a prize car so that could be a problem. the event is.....
    - expert series lv 18.
    - Japanese championship.

    The NISSAN Fairlady Z (Z34) '08 @ 462 pp would be a good replacement for it though.

    Hey Stu,

    Did a few laps in some of these. All laps done at the twin ring on SH. Here's m2c:

    Might get time to have a blat in the others tomorrow night. Won't be around much after that, Christmas has snuck up and is sucking the very life from my body. (Grinch anyone??)

    PS d/l'd drag racing on my phone, great fun, if you need something to do when on the crapper give it a burl. I think you can do some multiplayer with friends, (GT=Anon666) hit me up if you want a drag!!!
