    Did some more testing last night.
    5 laps on the trot with the Calsonic R32 on RM tyres... great fun. Best lap 8:44.xxx

    Still thinking, 600hp limit or 600pp limit (thereabouts)???

    Heya Seido. I liked the initial idea of a HP (and perhaps weight) limit as we always do PP limits.
    If you opt for PP limit I liked the idea of the higher 650pp as we have always limited SuperGT to 600pp.

    I did a few laps and tuning in the FordGT LM Spec II test car last night on race hards at 650PP. Very fun.
    Didn't post any lap times though, just did and out lap, tuning adjustment, out lap, more adjustments etc.
    Will try some other cars soon too.

    With an even higher PP limit, this event could also be fun in LeMans class single seaters like http://www.mygranturismo.net/car_sheet.php?id=807 especially if you end up running the LeMans circuit.
    They're quite expensive and I don't actually own one yet. But they look cool. The Zonda R could compete too.

    hey thanks for that Koastr. Well then let's go for a 630pp. Since I don't have much time for testing this week before the race I'll try out the BHP and weight limit combination for the next race we have.

    i tested last night in the falcon, woo hoo! managed an average around 8.25 [on rs, i'm in div 3] for a couple of laps but haven't tried in the dark yet. like the idea of around 650pp but. [hope i can have my tv allocation so i can make the race]

    Ok here's the latest for the test race this Sunday the 17th of July!
    (The full length race will be run sometime in the near future;
    507 kms (20 laps) About 3 hrs, based on a 9 min lap time.)

    The Nurburgring 24hr Layout
    Sunday the 17th of July.

    prac/qual from 3:30pm
    Race start at 4:30pm
    8 laps. About 1 hr 10 mins, based on a 9 min lap time.
    In-game start time 7pm
    Time rate 1
    Heavy damage
    False start check
    No penalty (Really don't like the ghosting)
    Dynamic weather
    Off track/rain set to real
    Tyre and Fuel ON

    Race cars (no rally, no LMP cars)

    Just thought I would share some things to take into account. If your car has taken damage, drive at a slower speed so not
    to spin and cause damage to others and stay to the right side of the track.

    Let's take extra care when passing and in the rain if it comes. Let's be sportsman like.
