I wonder if the stickers can be stretched into stripes or chevrons like on the nose of the Marlboro cars.

Looks like everyone's fear of not being able to share liveries are quashed :)

does look good. Graphics look pretty sweet, certainly look on par with PCARS

just hope the physics are good and they have servers that hold up.

Looking forward to seeing what liveries we can come up with..........can see a livery comp with a prize in the foreseeable future;)

disappointing to say the least...P2P connections will keep things as they were.......some guys will be fine, others will lag into next week. I hope the livery editor can be shared between general lobbies and not just the dedicated server lobbies

It'll be shared in the community, just like Need For Speed.

The PS4 seems to have a better online environment (more stable) than PS3, so hopefully P2P will stand up a bit better. Still disappointing there are no dedicated servers :(

I've had penalties for having an AI knuclehead plough into me in some of the seasonals, I hope that doesn't happen when racing against a human that ploughs into you.

I say it will be like the iRacing system, no fault so if 2 cars make contact both of them will get incidents, its a pain in the arse but will provide better racing(normally) once you start racing against better drivers

The 1 factor that will be hard to account for.. lag. It would suck to lose rep simply because someone in your room has a dodgy internet connection.

I would doubt a single incident in a race will affect your rating much, if at all, and would likely be outweighed by the positive rating you would gain if you drove and finished well otherwise... but if you had a few incidents during a race then it would start to have a bigger effect I imagine.

The point of it all is to try and punish systematic bad driving/behaviour and not small and one off incidents. If you consistently drive well and have the odd incident (it's racing after all) then your rating will be good. If you drive like a 12 year old in a public lobby during school holidays then that'll be reflected in your rating...

One thing I read which made me think was about the 'Entering restricted zones' part to lose rating
would the yellow striped area at trial mountain for example count?

I would think its all about stopping/punishing corner cutting or shortcuts (i.e. blasting straight through the last chicanes at La Sarthe)

Good review from Inside Sim Racing on GT Sport from E3. Some promising signs from the new build as far as physics go but still more work to be done.

The best thing that i see so far is triple screens can be used . For the true racers out there ( not the cheats that use roof cam plus bonnet view) !!! :whistling:
