Man what might have been! Pulled out a blinder to snatch pole, started off OK then started having odd offs due to what felt/looked like a soft brake pedal. Every now and then the car wouldn't pull up as it usually did. Resulted in several offs that slowly put me at the back of the field.

Turns out it might have been due to spotty internet tonight. Did anyone else notice any issues, lag, teleporting?

Looks like the past 3 or 4 days here we've had spotty internet.
First graph is today, red circled area during the race.

Second graph is the past 4 days. Time for some equipment reset or a new ISP.

Missed quali so had to start last.
Didnt have a good race, had many offs compared to practice.
My fastest lap in fact was set on the mediums

I had trouble pulling up too, i think one time i pulled up so deep that i was virtually parked on the apex of the corkscrew and i got cleaned up by you.

I was going to a montage of everyone racing in this race as I would go through the replay, but this track will make me work all week to find everyone's highlights.
Actually everyone's lowlights as it was rightfully said by one of the podium people.
Was a race of the least errors

after a disruptive quali(10th)...decided to start with mediums and change to RS when right and keep my nose relatively clean and maintained a consistent pace...... no major blemish helped!!

Attention everyone: the Alfa Romeo 155 DTM is available in the LCD right now for 800,000cr. Can everybody make an effort to purchase it as it is reguarly suggested to be used as a season car.

    Round 6: 26/11 - Sardegna - Road Track - A - 3x 10 Laps - Preset - Equal Conditions - S01 - Late Morning

WELCOME to Season 7 for Gran Turismo 7!!
As always please take a couple minutes to read the following so you have an understanding of what is expected on race night.
If you have any questions, or want clarification on any of the rules or regulations please ask!

    ROOM OPEN:
Room captains may have practice rooms open beforehand but should have the official room up by 7:30pm AEDT. Please be on time, or let the room captain or div thread know if you may be late. If all agree, the room may wait for you, Within reason. Please remember we have drivers from NZ, and later starts mean a much later night for them.

    SIGHT ISSUES:
Before qualifying, exit to lobby and spend 30 seconds in spectate mode, scroll through the list of drivers on track and make sure that you can see their car. If you can't see somebody (and they are confirmed as being on track), exit the lobby, re-join, and check again. Type the number of cars you can see in the lobby chat and cross check with other drivers to ensure clarity.

    QUALIFYING : 8pm AEDT for 10 mins.
Feel free to run practice laps prior to qualifying, The host will trigger a 'Room Reset' closer to the commencement of Qualifying.

    PITS ARE OPEN DURING QUALIFYING

RACE START TIME : 8:15pm AEDT

    LAG ISSUES / ROOM RESTARTS:
This is up to the room host/captains. If there is a Disconnection (or cars stuck on grid) at race start, it is sporting to try to get them back in, which may mean a new room to be set up. I would suggest only having 1 restart if required due to DSC, due to having to set up the room from scratch and also having to set timed laps in order to set the grid. Please be as reasonable as you can with this....

    TURN 1 LAP 1:
The old saying goes, you can’t win the race on lap 1, but you can definitely lose it. Please be mindful of other drivers on lap 1 coming into turn 1, and for that matter, the entire race. It can be very demoralizing to hot lap on your own for 45 minutes as I'm sure many of you are aware.

    TRACK LIMITS:
As we are running with 'track limit penalties" OFF, we will run with our usual Raceonoz track limit regulations. This means you MUST have at least 2 wheels on the ripple strip OR white line that defines the track limit. If you do make a mistake and have to run outside the limits, be aware that you are not allowed to gain any advantage, position or time wise. Track Limits protests may be launched by any active driver in the race.

Track Limits will be monitored generally around the entire circuit. Track limits will be defined as two wheels on the red and white kerb, or white line, whichever is further out.

    CONTACT:
Is to be avoided at all times..... If you make contact with someone and gain an advantage, YOU ARE EXPECTED to give the spot back. Occasionally, Gran Turismo track limits may teleport a disadvantaged driver backwards on circuit to ‘reset’ them, if this occurs at the hand of another driver, IT IS EXPECTED that the driver at fault will wait and redress the position.
Side by side 'rubbing' is racing is allowed and promoted within reason, but all drivers are expected to give racing room. For clarity surrounding racing room, please feel free to PM @Viperzed
Show each other RESPECT! It is difficult enough to drive the car at the limit on your own, without someone squeezing you within a millimeter of the grass.
So be patient and show respect to your fellow drivers.
If you are redressing contact, please do so out of the way of other cars, off the racing line, or if there isn't much room, off track.

    PIT ENTRY/EXIT LINES:
Pit Line Penalties are ON so you will be penalised in game if you cut any part of the entry or exit lines. Be mindful entering the pits that you will need to commit to coming in not long after the final corner. You may receive a penalty for misjudging your line on entry. Be mindful not to impede other cars on your way in. On pit exit, cars exiting the lane are reminded to keep drivers right if there are any cars approaching, you will have to give them space.

    BLUE FLAGS:
Please observe blue flags, and move out of the way of faster cars if you are being lapped. Failure to observe blue flags WILL result in a penalty

    STEWARDS GROUP AND RACE PROTESTS:
This season, the Head Steward will be @Viperzed. If you have reason to protest, please SAVE YOUR REPLAY, and then let him know via a PM.
DO NOT BLOW UP IN THE FORUM OR IN THE ROOM CHAT. There have been multiple incidents where the replays from drivers have been different, so its true that sometimes things are not as black and white as they may seem. You have until MIDNIGHT, Monday night to register your protest via PM. Stewards may ask for video evidence from both drivers or room captains to make any decision.

    SAVE YOUR REPLAY:
If the room host can ask all drivers to save their replay would be good before exiting the room.....once they exit out and the option goes, it cant be retrieved!

    PARKING UP:
If you are unable to continue to race, please enter the pits and leave your game paused without selecting tyres so that your car stays parked in the pits. Parking up off track activates yellow flags in the sector, and even though penalties are off, we have reports of penalties occurring for passes happening near the parked car. Quitting off track results in a sometimes race ending lag spike and may be punished in extreme scenarios.

    ATTENDANCE:
Could all drivers please inform Room Captains or make a post on the division thread if they do not intend on racing on Sunday night, Room Captains/ Lobby Hosts are advised not to wait for anyone who has not communicated their intentions. If you do not post in your room thread or psn chat that you cannot attend, a spot may not be held for you for the following weeks race.

    TRACK SPECIFIC - Sardegna A
Another modern classic, GT provided us with Sardegna in GT Sport and we never looked back. A circuit with plenty of passing opportunities, a very suiting place for our revamped sprint race format. This Sunday's races will feature a 10 min quali, and two reverse grid races. Be mindful that the armco is narrower than you might first expect, and best to give respect to cars around you, as you may find yourself dicing regularly on Sunday.

I'm expecting a decent turn out once again this weekend now that we've passed the Enduro and the Cricket World Cup.

Please as well if the room captains from Div 1 and 1B, as well as Div 2 and 3 can be in contact so that room merges can be on the cards.

A night of mixed results, apologises to @T F Eccles for having to make him set the first grid manually, all because i lost track of the time :cautious:
Race 1 went about as expected considering I had to start last for the 2nd week in a row & had just a few practice laps, but should of been able to do better than 10th considering other drivers had their own offs.
Race 2 was a disaster, took the lead into turn 1 and held it for a lap or 2? then crashed twice in 2 corners & was very far behind. Considered parking it up for that race but with another race to follow, and being off the pace, I used the laps to get some extra practice.
Race 3 it came all together my pace improved and my fastest lap was nearly 1 whole second better than the first race, held the lead for a little while but @Savage_Duck_75 eventually passed but with no severe accidents I was able to pull out a podium despite @Humblebeegee getting past on the final lap for 2nd which was a fun little battle were we ended up separated by just over 1 tenth of a second at the finish line:thumbsup:

In that last race I held onto 4th for most of the race and was watching you do a masterful job of holding @Humblebeegee off. He timed his timed his run down the main straight top perfection to pass you into turn 1 for the start of the final lap. I said to @Savage_Duck_75 in the party chat that you were doing a great job of holding him off.

For myself, I had another good sprint round. As I said in the Div 1B channel, I really enjoyed this format. In race 2 I benefited from the turn 1 chaos and got up front into 3rd. @Humblebeegee took a dive into the 2nd last left hander (turn 14) that knocked me off track, for which he redressed. Looking at the replay it looked like he was avoiding running up my rear end. We pressed on to be passed by @Bluemoon that put he and I again into a close tussle. Going into turn 9 I gave Moon a slight tap that put me offline. Humble shot through the open gap and I tagged the inside wall which put me 2nd last. I recovered to 3rd last which put me in good stead for the final race.

Last night was alot of fun for me, both the reverse grid and sprint format really spiced things up. Rd 1 looked like some chaos may have ensued in my back window in the opening laps so all i had to do was focus on consistency after a gap was created between myself and P2. Rd 2 starting from the back was an enjoyable challenge, whether hot air, no grip or adrenaline i do admit to having overloaded the brakes and going way to deep with too much pace on a few corners, i hope to have redressed every error in my driving. Rd 3 T1 was pretty chaotic, unlucky to the few who caught the brunt of it, @Doodah got spun round across the track in front of me and thankfully only caught one bump before he ghosted, otherwise it would've been a different result for me. The final laps catching up to and battling @K.Brown may have to be my most favourite moment of the 3 races, plenty of respect and quality racing, I had to make a conscious effort to take you on the last lap or i know you would've had me.
