Hey guys tonight I might not be able to make the race, have my dads birthday dinner to attend, hopefully I'll be back for the 8pm start, but if not don't wait for me. All my prac for this lap will go to naught if I can't make it

Will probably start from the back of the grid tonight, the Malaysian GP finishes about 8 so hopefully I can sneek in before (this) race starts.

oh and I will take Pathfinder Blue Metallic for the colour

gg guys. The race was always going to be about "taming the tyres", which was the difficult part about the race and made it interesting.

Apologies to some people who I accidentally made run wide, sometimes I was right on the edge of staying on racing line with the tyres' grip and then it'd just let go when there was someone next to me.

Good race technique, you left us for dead after the first couple of laps while everyone was still squabbling for positions

Good race all. That was pretty much it, once you ran wide through the S bends (nice save btw) that allowed me to build a little buffer while you guys were fighting. You were cutting the time down in the middle sector of the race, I did have to fight back abit. Lucky I didnt have to push the tyres as I saw something happened and the gap got out to 12 secs.

Lap times are pretty close I think Roco might have fastest, havent watched the whole replay though.

I was in the room got dropped then kept getting that, I restarted my PS3.

Great win technique. I have really got to work on consistency, think I managed a high 2:12 some how, but the rest were rubbish...

For all those having trouble with connections I have found that disabling the media server and setting up a static ip with DMZ in router settings has helped heaps.

Yeah on the second hairpin before you go into the first tunnel my front tyres weren't gripping and i understeered into the gravel

Must say that the tyres were frustrating, but was pretty fun when fighting for positions. Dougz liked my arse, he kept bumping it

the quali got ed up though. tech got fastest easy, but for some reason trustfire ended up in pole, with a time 2 seconds slower...

with quali, you need to wait till everyone's in the room and then restart the track if you want to stop these things from happening. TBH it probably doesn't matter much either way, because those who would be on pole are obviously faster and will get out in front eventually anyways.

My tyres wernt to bad about half left on the fronts last lap, I was struggling abit towards the end though nearly lost it once when I ran wde one lap. I yea I started 7th had great run to get up to 4th after turn 1 tho which helped, just went in slow and waited for the gaps to show.

Rico was up my clackers beeping his bloody horn though, :lol:

Yea I kinda chitting myself when you dropped the gap from 5 seconds to 3 seconds on lap 4.

Next week should be great, 2 x sprint round with reverse grid 2nd race

Hey guys, yeh was a good race, me and Dougs were fighting hard the last 5 laps for 3rd place. Got some awesome pics from that battle too. Towards the end we started making ground on Lunz, I think Luz you must have made a mistake because all of a sudden we were within 1 corner of you with 2 laps to go. but it was all too late! hehe I had a heart attack moment on the last turn where i put a tyre in the grass and did a massive powerslide, lucky i had built a semi decent break on Dougs and I had enough gap to keep 3rd place. Great race, shame i completely munted the first lap (see replay lol) otherwise i think we could have had a closer finish for podium positions. Race results as follows:

Again my apologies for setting the after race 'finishing time' to 30 seconds instead of 3 minutes, my bad, I will have it ready for the next one. Oh and i will keep my heavy breathing, sweating and swearing to myself next race lol mic = off :lol:

I think there will some great competition for this Seasons spots as there were plenty of people who can put down the laps. Special mention to RicoXR4 who laid down the fastest lap

Was a great battle for 3rd most of the race, trustfire you came so close to losing it the very last corner lol, times look excatly right. Congrats to Rico for fastest race lap.
