I hated sierra like usual, got involved in a few others incidents putting me way back then had my own slip ups pushing too hard to gain on the rest of the field. No chance of QLD winning the shield this time around, so will just have to concentrate on beating those dirty cockroaches.
as much as i agree on this, SS are semi slick tyres and in conditions where there is a chance of rain, knowing GT6 it will go to 100% and semi slicks aren't really tyres you would feel comfortable on at 100% surface water. CS work better at 100% than SS.
If you want to come last you could use a SS in the wet, let's not forget guys it's not a open event it's run by Jono not the general public, wouldn't we all smile with being granted a heavy wet tyre
The purpose of the full wet tyre is so those who aren't familiar with driving a powerful rear wheeled car in the wet have some chance of keeping up, the field is already spread out enough as it is. If you've driven at 100% on sports tyres you'll know it's aquaplain central.
Sorry @N64TheStig007 but after doing some testing, I do not feel comfortable with the track in this car. Was unable to get any decent clean laps in. I can still show up if you need a safety car or a commentator
Hi. 2 things - 1. are we starting earlier as tonight is a longer event?? Need to know as I drop my daughter back to my ex-wife and don't want to miss the start.. 2. Emmo, pardon my ignorance but the team championship talks in terms of states so what does that mean for an "outsiders" team?
1. No, hopefully we can have no problems with connection so we can start on time for a change. 2. Outsiders are either those from states that didn't have enough drivers to make their own team (SA, NZ, WA, etc).
@N64TheStig007, I wont make it tonight sorry . Internet is running on what seems like dial up speeds, I have swapped out my modem, replaced a few cables but nothing seems to make a difference. Good Luck all
I'm sorry but don't think I can race tonight. Been at v8sc last 3 days and wife isn't keen on my racing hobby atm. Have fun!
