GT6 [COMPLETED 10/05] Pre-1984 - The Good ol' Years

Note: I'm posting this on behalf of Bruce (bjh1012).

This event is a celebration of all things above the age of 30. 30+ year old cars, 30+ year old drivers. Drivers born after 1984 cannot participate.

Car: Shelby GT350 '65 (Premium model, not the standard)
Track: Deep Forest Raceway
Tyres: Sports Soft
Race style: 2 X 25min sprints, reverse grid for the 2nd race. (17 laps)
Date: Saturday the 10th of May
7:30PM AEST

Since there is a lot of interest, there will be two rooms, separated by age.

So, put your name down if you're over 30, sit back, an take nostalgic ride into the good old days of automobiles!

Here's a thought,how about 2-leg races about 1/2 an hour each,1/2 points available for the first race but to the podium only,then reverse grid for leg 2. You could also have a tempter of double points if you win the 2nd race from last position for a bonus

Depending on when this will be held you can count this Generation X'er in

Not sure if this idea is too complex but as a suggestion perhaps all drivers could choose a car (from the 1200 cars on offer in GT6), that was made on the drivers year of birth (+/- 1 year if need be)?
Then to equal things out we could always limit the PP to the lowest car chosen and then all cars could be detuned to match the same PP?

Just an idea....but as I mentioned, not sure if this is too convoluted. If so, just nod politely and say "yeah, we'll take that under consideration". LOL
