Season 7 Track 'test' list

    A quick calculation of the task ahead.
    (No of tracks X No of cars) X No of tyre options
    (12 X 4) X 3 = 144 variations
    144 X 40 mins/race = 5760 mins / 60 = 96 Hours.
    That works out to 24 hours per car. We might be racing in time for PS4. :lol:

    So, i'm thinking about farming out the testing to volunteers.
    (If we knew the car and tyre, that will knock down the testing by heaps). It seems the vote is leaning to the Camaro.
    But the tyre option?????

    Ok Miki, the Camaro has got up in the poll, so lets pick some tracks and the tire option....

    I like your list as well.........one track that we could use for a bit of a change instead of Tsukuba could be the short version of special stage route ???? The short one.

    1. Indy Road
    2. Tsukuba / Clubman Stage R5 (the short track, NIGHT RACE)
    3. Deep Forrest
    4. Daytona Road
    5. Tokyo 246
    6. Le Mans (enduro, weather and time change) ??? Not sure if the Camaro has the grunt for the straights so will need to test this
    7. Trail Mountain


    I think this is a good mix of tracks.....

    I'm all for that list. Would probably go Tsukuba. Had a few laps a week ago around that track with the ss. Good fun.
    I don't think le mans would be a good pick. Too big of a track for the small block.

    the majority wanted same as season 6 mate, 7 races with a mix of sprint, normal and enduro...

    Ok cool. No worries. So just one sprint and enduro would e good to see maybe 2 enduros and sprints.

    I ran a few laps this morning on Clubman stage R5 and its a nice little short track. A little more flowing than tsukuba, with a few more chances to pass.....something different as well, never run there before.....

    Agree with you there Hosie. You can tune trans for the straights but being as there is no tuning, this poor little engine just struggles.

    Think i agree too, BUT will be on tonight from about 8;30 to do some testing at the tracks proposed by Miki.....hopefully a few of you can join
