Practice will be a big help. Those that come to round 1 without practice will be screaming their tits off about the car choice for sure. I can tickle it around the track without crashing and really enjoy the experience, whether I'll be good, not good or completely left in the dust is yet to be seen.

I haven't tried RH yet, I'll do it now.

I totally agree with the Bathurst assessment but awesome at Nordschleife and normal tracks. We all died a few times over at the mountain. Let’s not have Bathurst in the mix if we use the Porsche. We were using RS tyres though

I just tried both RH and SH. The car feels the same, maybe a bit more understeer although I may be pushing it a bit harder now. I think SM or SS are best. I crashed about the same on all sets, just harder to catch on the RH.

SM is probably my preference (before trying SH), I find that you can hustle the car a bit more and send it a bit harder. RH is more on rails but more difficult to catch, plus loses a lot of the trademark Porsche slide.

Thought I would post this again as there was no response whatsoever. I,m sure we were using brake balance last season
:(:( So with the Porsche, BOP on, settings set to some, brake balance ticked only. Brake controller purchased and fitted. There is no brake balance dial showing in the car on track or in the pits. BOP off, Brake balance dial appears, so it has the capability.
Rear tyre wear is a massive difference to the front. Anyone?

Sorry, I was going to respond to this once I had facts. I'm going to test this tonight and see if we have any work arounds etc. May have BOP off, power and weight limited to ensure brake balance can be changed.

I agree tyre wear is worse on the rear, the Honda is the opposite, for me the rears stay blue on the FF .

Following some testing with BOP off, PP, Power and Weight restricted, Brake Balance does indeed re appear as an option in the car, so that will likely be how we run the season.
