    Hi guy's,i can't race this first round,:(i've got to drive my wife's dad back to sydney tomorrow,he got released for a 2 day break from hospital,& we're staying with him then driving him back. Sorry,it'll have to be my drop round. After tomorrow i'm happy to be reserve host,i'm 100% sure my connection is stable,as i run on low latency profile without issues at all,& have hosted open rooms with europeans,& the lot in rooms with mics and all,bugger all lag or dropouts,only spain,greece,portugal,& italy seem to have issues,but they're all basket case economies,on austerity measures to stay in the Eurozone,so the last thing they're spending money on is internet & phone line upgrades!:p LOL Have a good race,:cool:i'll see ya's next week.:)

    He wants to run in 1.......see what happens, i havent heard from nugget at all.......nat away tonight anyway then was dependant on getting the net hooked up after moving house. If my experience is anything to go by he will be out for a few weeks....

    Well what a great start to the final season. Joined the room late after putting the kids to bed. Just had time to put in two flying laps and qualified 2nd.:D Evilmoon started the race and was confident of a good result, then when the counter hit 17 sec.............Nothing. The bloody system froze!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::(:(:(:(
    Was hoping next week would be a free drop round as we will be away for the weekend and not coming home until Monday, but now I will have two DNS's to my name.:(:(:(:(
    Hope you had a good one guys.

    On the flip side it may have been a blessing in disguise to the others as I rejoined the room and watched a bit of the race and saw loads of lag which was most likely from my endo_O

    On the plus side, I finally got a podium but gifted away a good battle with OverDrivve with an early spin. Congrats to him and emmo46 for first and third respectively.

    If they were there and trying to get in, or got booted at some point during qual or race, they get points. Fingers crossed for more stability come GT6!!

    A lot of the front runners couldn't start this round so I managed to qualify third with 1:43.972. Overdrivve had pole with 1:42.360, T_B was 2nd on the grid but got disconnected while waiting for the start, Ad2 was 4th and Evilmoon was 5th. I'm not sure what the order was after that because I couldn't see Haze. I didn't realise he was there until I saw the results on the Forum. I got a small jump start penalty which let Ad2 get ahead of me and Overdrivve was also very slow off the line so that Ad2 led the first lap with me in second, OD in third followed by Evil, BJ and Darkace with Haze in there somewhere???. I ran wide in turn 1 and had a half lose which allowed OD and Evil by. I chased after Evil for a couple of laps and got on his tail but lost it entering the first tunnel and dropped back. Bj pounced and led me for a lap until I forced my way through at the last tunnel. I didn't realise I was racing him for outright and thought there were only seperate Div 2 and 3 tables. I was very
    keen to get on with catching AD2 and Evil and BJ was getting very defensive when I poked my nose up the inside a couple of times so I eventually just shoved it in out of frustration and it got a bit messy, Sorry BJ, If I'd known we were racing for outright postions I would have been a lot more respectful.
    I was now about 19 seconds back from the lead at around lap 5 and 15 seconds back from Ad2. I knew I didn't have any hope of Catching OD but tried my hardest to catch Ad2 and Evil.
    I was closing ever so slightly on them both and when Evil had a spin on lap 9 exiting the second last corner I was through to third. I pitted on lap 9 and dropped back to fourth again but once Evil pitted I was 3rd and getting closer to Ad2. Over the next 18 laps I chased after Ad2 but could never get closer than about 5 car lengths and couldn't even give him a little tap on the tail as I am prone to do. This is the first podium since S11 and I am very very happy to have it. It will be a lot harder to get on the podium once Stumbles, Disto and DEK get back.
