So to clarify. From your perspective, the cars that pitted remained in the pits, not to be sighted on track again. From their perspective they re-joined the track and were able to race to the end. Could they see the other cars and interact with them i.e. bump or touch etc?
It’s was me and Steve goof that had the problems, I couldn’t see Steve it showed he was stuck in the pits and same from Steve’s point of veiw I looked to be stuck and he couldn’t see me
if everyone else saw you both stuck in pits, and you came across someone else on track, if you made contact, likely their car wouldn't be affected and yours would feel like you hit a moving brick wall
Likely me. Im doing the Queenscliffe to Appolo Bay big boat race. Leaving friday night. Will be likely not back till very late Sunday night. Ill try but its up the wind, tide and sea. Quite literally lll
Given the Qualification lap times posted, D2 will be in the range of mid 32's to low to mid 33's. I would ensivage that depending on the amount of risk a racer is willing to accept, they might be able to push themselves up a smidge, but on the whole, in traffic, you'll be hitting 33's. Open air, 32's (hopefully) D1 on the other hand, should be 30's to 31's. (in traffic) - D3 is quite close to D2, but more 33's than 32's, perhaps tailing off to 34's. D4 should be high 33's (if they line it up right) sliding towards 34's+ I myself are hitting 33's with some 32's when I line things up correctly.
Yep, same for me. Brands is a high-risk circuit where you've got to use all of the track to get the fastest time, but that risks getting close to the grass... Oh and the curb glitch at Westfield bend is still an issue so be careful.
i did a full race test and my laptimes where i was setting 32s every lap pretty much, how high up on the gird do you think that'd be - what do you think the super quick guys are doing in div 2?
Full distance practise or Full distance race against others of similar skill? But that aside, top half at the very least.
While we've had time to practise this track, it is worthwhile to consider that we have 6 more races to go Anything can and will generally happen between here and there. Let's see how things pan out. Looking forward to the race/s ahead.
