This is why people get mis placed.
They turn 5 laps, if that and lodge a time.
Then depending on their weekly availability, either rock up on race day and perform as entered, or they spend the next week doing 15 bajillion race distances, with close racing attached.
And this is why new people are so hard to place in their first instance.
For long termers, we have the benefit of data and history to know how people perform so are generally easier to place.
Most of us improve over the season, let's see where this season leads us.
