no break for mothers day? would have thought less ppl would show up that day. than the queens bday which not all states even have.
Race 1 Race 2 Race 3 Had a network / initalization error on race 3, resolved by 1 person either unticking or leaving the room.
Odd thing was, we did the same, yes we were able to kick it off, that user reset their PS and modem and bam was able to race again afterwards.
Bit of a recap. Race 1 - We all got away, but a T1 pileup of all too eager racers not braking early messed up the back half of the grid. Race 2 - A lag spike @ T1 again, punted 2/3 of the grid off. Race 3 - Couldn't go ahead due to an initialization error, tried a new host, same issue. went back and we then identified the member who had issues and were able to run. Race 4 (mock race) - This member came back after a PS / Router reboot and was able to race. Once things got moving it was OK, but we had our share of problems.
i started at the back 'randomly' every time! LOL Played dodge the pile up each race, and the last one i tee'd hard into the side of someone! took me a minute to realise damage was on, when my wheel was pointing sideways haha
It definitely won't hurt to do some practise race starts to see if we can iron some of these issues out.
i think it comes down to the individuals realizing races are'nt won at the first corner, and personally, there is no glory in barging into a win.
I need to say this so I have said it. I believe tyre wear should be on minimum 2x. Or maybe even 3x this will also help to even the spread across the fields.
