Sunday league sister series ( tuning allowed )

    With quite a few members wanting to tune the car for the Sunday league I thought it might work to run a sister series with all the same car, tracks and tyres but allow full tuning options. This will make setting up the series quite easy as all other rules and regs will be the same as the Sunday series but drivers will have the opertunity to tune there car :)

    To test the viability of this series I will open a room on Monday ?? Nights with the same track/laps as the night before's race and if there is enought interest during S11 I will start a proper championship for S12

    So Cyber, I know you said last night but just to check, this is full tuning? As in full engine mods, weight saving etc. Cos thats awesome! I'll be on tonight, just wanted to check so I can do engine mods before we get it as you can't do them in the lobby.

    i will open room at about 8:30 for some testing so anyone interested is a tuning series add me ( Cyber_STIG_77) and join in.

    car is the TVR RM ( same as sunday series ) FULL MODS only restriction is tyres ( RM ) see ya on the track.

    Good turnout last night.
    Still couldn't get your 1.04.168 mus, best I got was a 1.04.401, I reckon if I got into 3s it would be because of the tuning as that lap was done straight after I fiddled around with a few things (after that whole night of not getting past a 4.8), got the maximum out of the last sector at least.

    This series might me get me super interested if there any spots still available.?! I drive like rubbish but can tune a car like a mofo :lol: I like the idea of Mondays. Other nights thru the week wont really work with me due to other interests.

    edit: with GT6 incoming it would be good to put in a few more tunes in the realm I am used to before it all changes ;)

    no worries guys, its just a bit of fun at this stage anyway :)
    @ anon, havn't got a good tune myself yet :( i've mostly been working on front grip lol and from memory am running full downforce on the front and 45 on the rear, initial diff setting up to 20 ?? , lowered ride height stiffened up the rear and have reduced the rear toe a bit. we might just do some 10 lap races so there will be time for tuning. we'll see what the rest of the lads want to do.
