Yeah I made ones for me and Killer, just waiting to see how they turned out first. I'll stick some pics up when they arrive. If you want one I can order one for you or anyone else. If they turn out well I'm going to do some black ROOZ hoodies.
I'm just doing it through Vistaprint cause it's full colour digital print as opposed to screen printing so you can put lots of sponsor logos etc on it. They start from about $16 per shirt but if you want a black shirt it's a few bucks more plus a few extra bucks to print on front and back. I got all the extras and they cost about $30 each including delivery. It's good for a once off thing to test it out but if more guys are keen I would get them done up properly with a larger run which would be more cost effective.
Did this thread get forgotten about or something... http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/rooz-custom-made-merchandise.2034/
There was talk about it in the merch thread but nothing ever seemed to come of it so I thought I'd just make one myself to represent.
Probably wouldn't work but I have always liked the idea of a progressive series. I.e we start in formula rookies and move through each race until the big grand prix finale in formula a's at spa.
some good suggestions here guys, a lot of the cars are pretty good. Tried a few the other night.... Mclaren GT3 - nice but only a couple of liveries and the endless bottoming out made me cut off my own ears BMW Z4 GT3 - Epic car. Loved it. fast, heaps of grip, sounds awesome, heaps of liveries Audi GT - Meh......felt floaty to me and not connected to the road. Sounded like a souped up dyson vacuum cleaner Sierra RS500 - love this car but the reality is unless you can practice in it would be a tough league car. Has NO power up until about 3500 rpm, then it unleashes hell and throws you over the fence. Plough understeer as well. Aston Vantage GT3 - Felt great, looks good (bags the ROOZ livery !) good power, sound not great Open wheelers - Generally great to drive but can be hard in a pack. Also with no lights limits a time change race. Would not rule it out though, something different might be good ! Will try a few laps in it tonight if i get a chance.
Had a run with a few of the guys in the Formula B the other night and that was pretty epic. The thing is just on rails and feels great to go flat out from turns 1 to 6 @ Dubai GP Fairly easy to push harder than you think you can, but also very easy to spin. Consistency will be rewarded with this car.
Out of that list the Z4 is a clear winner. Balanced to a T and can have the wheels driven off it, but its not a superman car that will never bite back if you ask too much either. Glorious Sound, in my opinion it has the best livery in the entire game too!! (Hands off that Chrome Nvidia if this car is our S5 weapon!) Love it love it love it
