Ok lads, we have done some testing. All cars listed in the original thread have been tested. The cars in this list are deemed suitable as they have good gear ratios, minimal/no understeer tendencies, color options, accessibility across all divisions and work well over various types of tracks. I am hoping we may see 2 or 3 clear favourites over the next week and a second poll can be run, alternatively if there is one clear favourite we will know the season 12 car in 7 days time.

PS Can I encourage you to stop what you're about to do...DON'T VOTE!! No yet anyway, go and test these cars first, try a few tracks, and then come back here and tick a box.

having tested all those cars, My votes goes to the Citroen GT, the Ferrari 458 would be a close second.

I just tested all cars & like the lot . on 3 different circuits but got best times out of the citroen & italia to me they
have better gearbox then others I go four the Citroen.

tested them all, the only one i hadn't spend time in was the GT citroen, good car but i'm still going the nsx. 458's a close second but i just really enjoy the hondas handling..

I liked the Citroen, shame wheels can't be changed/painted. The Ferrari would be my second choice.

Tested them all on sport softs. Have gone with the NSX, as I believe that it will be the most fun, and give us the closest racing. Would definitely need racing hards if we went the Citroen!

Great testing sesh last night, awesome stuff. Need to do a few more laps though to get a firm favourite.

One thing though, having a race car going up against road cars is going to produce some lopsided results I think given the obvious advantages a race car will have (power, downforce, grip etc). This is evident in the testing too. The Citroen is a great car to drive once you tame it, but maybe it should be put up against other race cars? Have we dropped the road/race car alternating season thing already?

had a go with the cars yesterday and my pick is the Honda but the Ferrari would be fun as well. Couldn't seem to locate the Audi to give it a run. Anyway my vote is in.
ps the dash on the Citroen was awesome.

Hey guys, there has been some confusion with the Citroen. Yes it is the race car version. Yes it is 5.6M credits, it is also the only non-RM race car that can be painted. It is a prize car for one of the later B-Spec races.

@Turbo, we haven't so much dropped the race car/road car thing, it's more that we are looking at possibly the last season with GT5. As such it's more about picking a quality car that the majority of drivers will enjoy rather than sticking with tradition. The options above are some of the best cars in standard tune you will find in the game, and as always we will run with the one the majority of people choose.
