Hey all, I'm sure a lot will know already but Wakefield Park in Goulburn NSW was shut down a number of weeks ago due to restrictions placed on the track. This left SMP as the only permanent race circuit in all of NSW. Now i'm by no means involved in this petition to save it but Wakefield is closer to me than SMP and it would be a shame to see it leave the NSW motorsport scene like Oran Park did. It would also be farcical that a big state like NSW only has one permanent circuit across the whole thing. Signed. Never been there but we always need more racetracks and venues like this to have more motorsport related events and safe places to learn and also push your car/bike in safe environments.
