Just for the record, I checked today and I was on ‘Amatuer’ so not sure how much difference ‘Pro-Am’ is from there.
Sweet spots for ideal power and accuracy are halved, mis hits are punished more. Halved again on Pro. Look I’m going to pretend I didn’t see what I saw in the previous pages, all I’ll say is that the changes made to the competitions did not affect you in anyway. Up to you if you want to continue or not.
Thank for accepting my apology or ignoring my comments jono but I think ill still stay in the society but won't be doing comps as I just want to do it as a fun drink and wack thing and things just got to serious in game I had fun but politics out of the game Thanks anyways
I dont care to much about score but ill take you up on that a beer a hole just not tonight I've had afew now and out of beer so onto scotch I go
Maybe a few of us can have a get together on Friday night for a beer and a whack? I think you can have 4 at a time on a course? I'd be keen as chips for this. @DeanK - Calm down mate
Yeah groups of 4 it can do. I have been playing with @Stew Wilson and @boneslightning recently having lots of laughs. @RPeeM808 has just taken it up and is hooked already. I see a few other guys online also quite regularly. And you only get punted by your own mistakes, so a good time had by all
Had a good couple of round this arvo finishing off the Monterey Invitational on Pro-Am. Was thinking about how a winner / podium could be brought back to the field for the next event etc after a win or close to. I’ve now upped my difficulty setting to Pro, and after hitting some shots at the range, it will be a tough test.
I failed badly going from beginner to Pro-Am. I did improve over the 4 rounds though to go Par, which I'm pretty happy about. Really gotta work on that down swing.
Hahaha. Lucky you’re a reasonable steerer, you can downshift, just not down swing in real golf you would be a chopper, (golf banter) lol. I played real golf today in the comp at my club. Front nine 13 points, bad everything swing. Back nine 19 points total 32 points. 4 down of 6 handicap = 10 over. The comparison is relative which makes this PGA tour 2K so much fun when you up the setting level to create the reality. And the words are the same when you play both games, like damn it and oh my gosh lol. We should have a game together so i can kick your butt cause i can’t catch you on the track at the moment.
If you haven’t already, spend 5-10 minutes on the driving range to ‘test hit’ some shots. There is a ‘swing calibration’ section that may help the game adjust to your swing speed rather than default.
I know what you mean aye. Unfortunately the game wont let us up the challenge to Pro if I have it set to Pro Am which is a huge bummer.
Canadian Open Nov 4 - 11 Course: Sky Peaks Resort Par: 71 Rounds: 4 This fantasy course set in the gorgeous Canadian mountains could be your toughest test on the RaceOnOz Tour. Carefully sculpted fairways and greens, severely elevated tees, pesky hazards and unforgiving putting surfaces will have you thinking strategy on every shot. Any score under par will vault you up the leaderboard as lightning fast greens make attacking the pin almost impossible. Birdies will be rare here.
Looks cool, i can almost hear the swearing echoing of the mountain walls already. Might have to play this one accompanied by a few Canadian Clubs or Rums as it looks cold!
Results from the Monterey Invitational Despite the new swing rules, @Jim_aka_The_Man goes back to back!
