Hello. I got sick of using the paddles for cars with sequential shifters so I came up with this solution. Works a treat, and most of the parts were existing parts from the G27 shifter. Also enjoying my new Clubsport wheel.
Hello. Looks sweet. Have you drilled a hole into the shifter housing for your linkage there... Can you still use the H-pattern functionality?
Cool. If it was that easy for you to convert to sequential, really makes you wonder why they dropped that functionality from G25 to G27's eh. Looks BOSS.
For those that upgraded to g27 from a G25 and miss the sequential shifter, Derek Speare makes an adaptor to connect the G25 shifter to your G27 wheel. I was looking at doing what you did Beau but have to wait as Ive still got warrantee on my G27, I put a post up on the Iracing forum and Derek contacted me through PM. 5 mins later I have an adaptor in the mail and on its way, under $20 and free delivery world wide. He got some great products, button boxes and will have peddles in the future, he is often on InsidesimracingTv and his new boxes were featured in the last episode. lol That's Awesome! Just need the the other bit that goes around it that costs about a million.... Do u use gloves with it
Thanks bones. Yeah I had to buy one of Derek's adapters, so I could run my G27 shifter "stand alone" with my Fanatec wheel and Pedals. AussieCol: I'm not one for gloves in sim racing. Shoe neither.
I might have to try this, started trying to race without auto blip after Dale mentioned it but its really hard to do with the paddles.
It's not hard with paddles Basil, especially for a bloke of your talent. It's just a matter of timing, Once you get used to it, it's like riding a bike.
