Since there is no real car simulating a car close to what is used, i was thinking maybe It would be good with the Toyota 7 Cam-am car( go for a bit of a Classic Indy feel), but racing hards and it should atleast add a bit of difficulty to the lap, going the full race distance. Of course still awhile away but just seeing any interest? Maybe do the same with Monaco.
The formula grand turismo is faster then current f1 car lol, i figured it probably wouldn't be good with that as it would easily be flat out
I'd like to do that as well. The Granturismo would be fun but then so would the Toyota 7, or maybe one of the $20 Mil historic racers?
I wouldn't mind with Classic Le Mans cars but they have about Half the Power of the Toyota 7 and weigh alot more, which means it will likely be easily flat out like daytona. Then again the Toyota 7 might be as well i need to get one to see lol, maybe combine it with the Chapparal 2D and 2j race cars which are also Can Am classics.
not sure but we wouldn't be able to regulate that so it would be unfair. If you guys wouldn't mind we could have a test session on the weekend and we can find the best solution to the car problem.
I'd suggest the F2007/F10 with max ballast, minimal downforce and slightly decreased in power, but I doubt this would be a popular choice, especially with the retro theme.
We can't use the Toyota 7 unless we allow tuning its gear ratio is much too tight, it tops out at 311km/h
Im not sure what can be done here, i tried some 60s Lemans cars but there gear ratios are too tight for the track, either wise it would of been good as your forced to Lift. The F1 car is easily flat out though where in Real the the indycars are just flat out in qualifying spec and then u lift in race spec, its a shame GT doesnt have the champ car spec open wheel car from GT3 and GT4 It would of been ideal. II want to keep Tuning Prohibited so everyone is assured all cars are identical though.
