I visited Fuji Speedway last Sunday for the 3rd or 4th time now. But the first time for the Fuji Sprint Cup. It was a great atmospheric afternoon of racing. Just caught a quick drift show. I got to see Formula Nippon for the first time. An all Japanese all time legend drivers CR-Z race. Then the GT300 and GT500 sprint races. Great stuff! I'll get some pics and links up soon of some vids that I took. *Who's up for a one off Formula GT sprint race at Fuji Speedway in GT5??
Im interested, if its not a saturday. I struggle to make time for saturday as its my random day, anything can happen. What about a week night, any races on a wednesday night ATM? SuperGT wed nights used to get a decent turnout. Also when you gonna come back to sunday league?
Ok, well let's say it will be on a Sunday because weeknights I don't get on till about 10-10:30 pm Tokyo time. I'm still not sure about the Sunday league. I want to get back into it. Possibly next season I will join again...
Just putting a suggestion out there, how about 2 races with mixed GT500 and GT300. Half the field in one class and the other half in the other class then, for race 2 everyone jumps into the other class to determine a GT Champion. But, if you thinking of more than 1 event it could be taken further. :/
Sounds good man... So maybe, first off we run the FGT Sprint Cup with a race length of around 30 mins. Then on another Sunday we run the GT Sprint Cup the way you suggested and with a 20 min race length. What do you think?

Ok, so I did a short test run last night in a FGT at Fuji Speedway F. I will post a new thread tonight but the details for now are: Fuji Speedway F. Formula GT Sprint Cup Tyres: RM BHP: TBC Assists: TCS only Date: Possibly could go ahead this Saturday! Practice: 10:30 am EDT Qualy: 11:00 am (15mins Open Q then the top 3 will go into a hot lap shoot out! Race: 11:30 (2 races. Each about 20-30 mins long. (approx. 20 laps) Sprint race so no pit stops) Keep your eye out for the new final thread tonight. All welcome! EDIT* I have the day off on Wednesday (YES!) so I will host a prac session that evening/night. I'll finalise an approx time for that soon.
