not sure if he's just giving two thumbs up coz he's liking the game so much, or he just dont wana break his thumbs in a crash.
Picking this up tonight. JB Hifi have apparently got special editions available...steel book or something, not sure why that is so special!
It's not, just a Steel Case and booklet with brief descriptions of track guides, wheel setup, car setup, car setup tips, race stratergy - managing tyres and fuel.
Would've been cool in a rubberised case, made it look like a tyre tread or something...but no, good old 'steel' it is
I do think this is a step up from previous efforts I like the way it feels. Needs patching online however struggle to find races and then pitting seems to be bug ridden. Apart from that didn't see too much lag. Got potential if they can iron it out
Right, I've had a good run on this and my opinion is this: If you want a game that has all the fluff like interviews, rivals, career mode etc, then you'll be disappointed. If you want a game that dispenses with the fluff in favour of decent physics and handling then you'll like this. It feels good, is quite challenging with a wheel and the feeling of speed is amazing. I found myself holding my breath through Eau Rouge haha Haven't been online yet, but the basics are pretty much spot on for me. You can really feel the torque and it's difficult to get the power down quickly without the tail wagging. I've spun so many times!! Great fun though. Just a shame F1 cars sound so boring now...
Thanks Lee, that's all I needed to hear. Grabbed a copy this arvo. Hopefully the Thrustmaster F1 add-on will work with this on the T300 on PS4.
The best rating of a game ever What is going on with the games industry 2 major racing releases recently and both full of bugs and glitches, money first, quality and customer satisfaction a long way last, and a lot of bull in between
