After a bit of practice i'm doing consistent 1.20.3's,with a best 1.20.129,with a really slow final turn on the previous lap,so i really believe a 1.18.9 is probably attainable with the ideal lap
Remember,1.19's are no good if you get pinged post race for cutting.Believe me,it will be checked for this track & RedBullRing!!!
you will get pinged in the race Dek if you cut the concrete at turn 3 -4. In prac and qual it will be an honesty thing (although there will be enough cars on track to see if someone has done the wrong thing) If you even look sideways at the concrete it will hit you with a 3 sec penalty. Redbull ring is different, run wide everywhere and PD send you a box of chocolates !
I now mate,i'm trying to get the new guys to understand.I'm talking more about using the concrete to the left of the track in the first tunnel after turn 4,i've noticed 1 or 2 getting pretty wide there so i've made it clear i think that your right hand wheels have to at leastremain to the right of the ripple strip
Have you checked on a replay? You'd be surprised Where it shows you as being compared to where you think are, especially if you use bumper cam
And here I am in div 2 doing low 21's/high 20's and you guys are talking about 18.9's........... Thats rather disheartening after putting in close to 4000km's of practice in. I guess its div 5 for me next season. I guess my goal for this season has gone from not coming last to not getting lapped
