Well done everyone last night......just a couple of things to remember for the rounds ahead......(posted in every thread), mainly for the benefit of our new members if they have missed anything ......... 1. If you make contact with a car and gain advantage from it you must redress on track and give the spot back. The best example is rear ending someone and pushing them offline. (nothing too major last night, but a few close calls) 2. You must keep 2 wheels on track at all times. the ripple strips are considered part of the track, continual cutting to gain an advantage will result in a penalty (none reported from last night ) 3. Something that hasnt been mentioned anywhere, PD in their wisdom, have decided that lapped cars wont ghost anymore, and remain solid. If you are being lapped it is race etiquette to move out of the way of the leading drivers. 4. Out of respect for our major sponsor, PAGNIAN, you must race 5 of the 7 rounds to be eligible for the $850 cockpit at the end of season draw. You must also have a post count of 40 to be eligible by season end. As i say, there were no major issues last night, just some info for the newbies in case they missed it, and a refresher for some of the oldies like me with a little bit of dementia !!
This is why I haven't been able to file any reports recently, the latest patch freezes replays, whilst the one prior to that would freeze when taking photos. Some are getting the problem, some aren't.
Yes I did get a replay. I get the same glitch where my ps3 freezes and I have to restart it. It's extremely frustrating. I'll see what I can do tomorrow with the fastest laps list. Do you want me to post them here?
If you could post it here that would be great thanks. Easiest way is to put the time first then the driver after, like this. 1:27:863 Stuart 1:27:864 razor Etc First time I have ever had it freeze during replay.
I had a chance to watch a few laps last night - It was just to much power while running on a ripple strip that did it Lee, shame cause you were on me like white on rice! Regarding the "dis-respect" - Personally i don't think anything said sunday night was bagging Faine. Your new here Bernsy and i can tell you of the burning hoops we have jumped thru in the pass to get everybody on the grid and 9 times out of 10 once everybody reset then someone else would not be able to get in - i guess some of that frustration surfaced but regardless, 2 resets to try and get him in showed at least we were trying. I hope you decide to return.
I hope me not being there didn't cause any frustration... If the Roar beat the Wanderers quicker then I would have attended, lol. I decided not to bother and just go out for drinks with the fanatics on the night after I only arrived at my car at a quarter past 7. Good ol' Caxton Street. I'll be there next week of course; McLaren is awesome.
Not at all mate, I sent you a friend request yesterday. Make sure you've responded before Sunday otherwise we'll have issues with you being able to get into the room.

Yeah I couldn't really walk. Pulled my back out warming up for cross country yesterday... In a lot of pain
That was happening to me also, there was 1 trackside camera at which it woukd freeze and also when trying to take a photo of the cars lined up on the grid, but other than that it the rest would be ok if your kept the camera on the car.
Div 2 report hasn't been done yet 560. Greasy is on that, unless his replay is stuffed. In which case I'll do it. Keep as eye out on the News thread, when Ad2mny has all of the Div reports he will put them all up in there.
i will try that tonight, maybe stay in car till i get past the 3minute mark and see what happens. Its the trackside camera at the end of the straight that freezes for me, no matter the car.
Mine was doing the same, freezing up every time I tried to get a photo of the grid. After 3 hard resets and disc checks, clearing all my old replays etc it still wasn't working so I turned it off for the night and let it have a long hard think about what it had done. It worked perfectly the next day.
