    Hey cyber, I have messaged all the new guys and also the drivers who haven't been on much. Only ones I didn't message was rotary and warrior. Have you heard from them at all ?

    Also with the addition of Aussie to your room I have spoken to natman and he will back with me in div 2.

    Alright guys, after some discussion with the other mods BONUS POINTS will be re-instated this season.

    That means that ......

    1 bonus point for pole position

    And

    1 bonus point for fastest lap during the race.

    So with round 1 tonight just a reminder to everyone to race clean and remember the common sense rule of

    "if you think you have gained advantage from hitting someone please redress"

    Also if you have a protest to look at please advise the room captain and mods, dont abuse anyone in the forum !

    Also i ask that in the next day or so give us a race report of how you went. There have been some crackers in the past, and its a great way to know what happened at different stages of the race for different drivers.

    finally pulled through with first div1 win!

    Felt lucky to get pole with the 1.35.5 but it was enough in the end. Got off to a good start with about 4 or 5 cars trailing for a few laps. Then at some point, I'm not sure what happened but me and blue broke away and I kept him behind for a while, but I messed up the hairpin after the uphill section near the beginning of the lap and he overtook me for the lead. I think next lap it was?, I got a good run on the back straight and took the lead again going into the second tunnel.
    Pitted on lap13, with blue staying out for about 3 more laps. I was gaining quite a bit on his lead during this period with my newer tyres. When he pitted on lap 17, he came out about 8 seconds behind. The lead then dwindled down a bit, due to a few mistakes by me (but never going off at last corner at least) and the 3 lap older tyres.
    I just had to hold it steady to take my first win here in div1, with blue and warrior having a good battle for second.
    Think stig13 got fastest with a 1.35.2 or something, only had time to check quickly.

    Thanks again for the great race guys, really wasn't expecting much here this week, so this was great:)

    hey chev, havent seen you in a while!
    this round was trial mountain reverse, next week is indy. Tonight we had 10 people, turbochikaru (i think thats how its spelt) couldnt join after we had to remake room so that was a shame, had quite a few problems with connections tonight.

    lawl first win in div1, i won the championship in div3 and div2. started off in div1 last season and best i got then was a 2nd.

    Yeah mate, i've been checking on the forums every now and then, but havn't been on GT5 since before xmas. These kinds of connection issues are part of the reason I havn't been to keen to jump on over my work holidays. It's good to see you had a decent turnout though. I'm looking to partake in one of the secondary series if one pops up soon....Anon.....DTM3!!!!!!!! Please!
