I'm definitely in, those cars are an absolute dream to drive, though the F3 must surely come into consideration for Season 3. We should have a race on the 80's Monza for sure.
I haven't checked yet, but can you modify the performance on these cars? Specifically power output? If there is no chance of increasing power, might be a good opportunity to perhaps have tuning involved? Perhaps for the F1 only?
Definitely can't power mod either car,so a great opportunity for a tuning series! Count me in,i love the F3 & am coming to grips with the 97T slowly,so will enjoy it thoroughly.
Don't think there will be an issue getting enough interest for this one. Has been added to the provisional list for the next Race of Champions.
You can mod the 97T with the rear wing, aero devices and decal position. Putting them on only increases the amount of rear downforce you can apply. Apart from that, no mods.
Yeh,and the diff, suspension & gears, but none of that effects power or PP.You can add ballast if you want, but why would you, extra weight=extra time unless you have a power increase,e.g 15kgs for a supercharger & systems is a good use of extra weight on a race car,but lead blocks aren't,except in the case of extremely poor chassis balance, which if it is,all the BHP in China won't help ya anyway!
In. No good at the 97T - so much turbo lag then bang off she goes - but the F3 will be awesome fun. I don't care what they say behind her back, she sounds awesome cranking through the turtle beach headset.
Put me down, the lotus is sick have her doing 1:16's around 80's monza 14.9's if pens were like regular monza at ascari.
You can tune the turbo lag out of her, she never drops below 9,500-10,000 rpm with my transmission settings.
