With just 3 10 lappers under my belt at Daytona in GT6 with other cars, I must say I am really looking forward to this one, it's gonna be like Indy only less slowing down. It's all about draft...!! HURRY UP SUNDAY!!

Stu, can I suggest we allow 2 laps for qualifying? Reason is, I tried it today, you start on last bend and not up to full speed at finish line. Setting qually time for 2 mins would be enough for 2 laps.
Hmm, just doing some laps and testing stuff, the pit-stop glitch... As Anon and Cyber were saying, you lose time every lap after a pit-stop. Just noticed, I had the screeching tyres again, and top speed at the end of the back straight went from 324Kph before pitstop, down to 317 after??? So it's not giving you the wrong tyres, it actually slowing the car down (bloody pit crew can't put tyres on properly...lmao).
This pit stop bug is effecting the Scooby as well, loosing time and speed, feels like i can get out push it faster. Sure hope it's fixed in next patch.
Yeah mate, just get everybody to do 2 if you want then park it in pits. i havent been using the timed qual in my room, only because if someone got booted they couldnt get back in from what i understood. With the boost on it wont really make any difference to where you start, will be a big pack anyway, and if you fall behind wont be long till you get back to the leaders. the last stint will be crucial, how good are your tires and how far back from the leaders you are..... @ darko, agree 100% the next patch needs to fix some serious stuff. Ive said before, i just hope they dont break to much stuff fixing other stuff that they broke when they fixed the other stuff !!!
I think he means if we all start in the same spot aren't we all equally disadvantaged by not starting the lap at full pace I thought the same thing
Theres not going to be much in it anyhow, not matter where you start, you should still be in with a chance!
Only thing I noticed last week, as host, I got into qualifying quicker than everyone else, took a third of a lap before the quick guys caught me and I started seeing the little arrow markers for cars near you.
Was thinking of postponing with the long weekend, but with season 1 starting soon it was going to make it too hard, so we will push on for this Sunday as normal.
