Time to get the ball rolling again guys. For those of you new to the forum, this event is only open to those that win their division in the upcoming/current season, along with the winners of eligible events planned and run by various members before seasons end. As a general rule, boost events are not eligible.

It is a handicapped event run at one of the tracks from this season, chosen by a poll (at a later date) using the car for this season. Said handicaps are based on entrants fastest laps at that track during the season race there, with provision for improvement. I.E. Division 6 entrants will generally start first and Division 1 entrants will start from the back of the grid with the biggest handicap.

With the amount of entries being generated by many community events being held, only the winners of their respective divisions will be guaranteed their spot on the grid. All other community event winners will have to pass through a qualifying event a week prior to the main event. The winner of this event does not guarantee them selves a spot, rather the top nine drivers with the greatest lap time improvement over their season lap time will progress through to the Race of Champions. note - the times from the qualifier will not affect your handicap calculations.


There are no divisional winners, just one champion of champions, so everyone get out there and see if you can earn yourself a spot. Positions on the grid are only via a PM once race/division has been won and in some cases, confirmed by the Mod team.

Season done and dusted. Well done to the Div Champs!!!

Just one more community event to go before entries close. That leaves us with a max grid of 15 meaning I will host and run the event, but not take part.

Don't for get to vote for the track guys. very few votes so far.

Good thing I stumbled in here out of curiosity! If I am counting correctly, there are 11 drivers in the qualifier with 9 spots available? I genuinely don't know the format but from what I can see it'll be nearly impossible to see Bob lose with the pace he's had in Div2 all season.

I think he might get his own handicap, I believe that has happened in the past. Like you said, if he starts with the other Div 2's, it will be impossible for anyone else to win.

So far there are 11 qualifiers and 12 entry spots remaining, with only 1 more event to qualify. I think everyone can be confirmed as an entrant at this point..

That's all the entries now. And with some unable to attend, we have no Div 3 representatives.
I'm thinking of splitting Div 2 into an A and B handicap like Div 1 has. There is clear pace difference unlike seasons past.

Scratch that. It would only be bob in a DIV2A scenario. I think it is unfair to single out a single driver just because he did well over a season. It is what it is. Us Div 2 boys will just have to make our Pugs as wide as possible.

I seem to remeber getting a pretty substantial handicap and I didn't win by anywhere near as much as Bob

I was just about to mention Incey despite being Div 7 was placed midfield in the LFA. I also believe CAGM in Div 2 was placed behind 1B drivers in the Pozzi. Considering Bob exceeded 1B pace this season with some amazing drives I can't fathom why he should start with Divsion 2 as the result is almost a forgone conslusion.

Is this where I start my campaign for "Vote LeMans"?
Aside from Tokyo, LeMans was Bob's biggest delta to the Div 1 champion (even after you scale for enduro round), and it is still possible to be voted the track of choice, whereas Tokyo needs 2 votes with 1 voter remaining.
Spa was Bob's best track aside from High Speed Ring, so.... if you don't want Bob to win, might suggest LeMans.
(No... nothing to do with me actually doing well for once at LeMans... not at all!)
