It's your series Seido, you run it when and how you want.

I will do my best to make it, but if I don't, then tough luck for me.

Well it's not just mine, if you guys didn't show then it wouldn't be a series....

Suzuka (East) 2 races. Reverse grid race 2.
This weekend 30th or 31st. DATE and TIME TBC
Honda. Type R.(non race car)
No track reset.

Try your best to make it, this will be a great round!

hey guys, I will be dusting off the controller and looking to be in this race, the Hondas are great fun to hammer hard and they just go and go forever. The hardest part will be choosing which car? hmmm is there an Odyssey type R?

Evening all.

I just sent a message out to all of you on my PSN list about round 5 this Saturday.
This Saturday only, we will have to set the start time back a little to 11:30am Sydney time and also shorten the prac and qualy session to 15 mins each.

Is everyone ok with that or should we run it at the normal time slot on Sunday morning?
or we can go the other way and run it earlier on Saturday?

I'm trying to run this series at a good time to get as many drivers involved and fill the grid for some good racing.

I'm alright with starting at 11:30am Sydney time we may get a few more people that way mate so I'll see ya Saturday morning mate at 11:30am then unless you let me know its changed.

Keep up the good work mate with the 501 and the enduro series I'm enjoying both cheers for putting them together bud :mrgreen:

ok, 11:30am it is. I have to give my wife a lift then drive like Colin to make it home for 10:30am (japan time) have the race then head out to pick her up again!

Did some testing last night. An EK9 and a 95 Jap spec DC2 Integra... I have a few more options to try...

Guys going out for lunch so won't be able to make it this week.

Well that was a great round this week! The Hondas at home in Suzuka! This round brought the best turn out in the series so far. Thanks to all who came, great racing. Race 2 and 3 was brill! It seemed like battles were going on everywhere!

That too was a great round.

We will take a 2 week break and Round 6 will be on the 20th of August at 11:30 am EST.
Round 6 will be held on one of my custom made Toscana circuits called S3, so please download it from my GT5 profile page.

Good racing as always guys. Was a good turnout for what was surely going to be one of the most popular rounds.

I originally picked a white 2004 Civic Type R (EP3) but even with all the go-fast bits on it, it only got up to 478pp. I really didn't want to put a turbo on it so I could keep the high revving N/A Honda-ness about it, but it just wasn't quick enough to keep up with anyone, lapping about 1.5s off the pace. So I jumped into my garage and pulled out an NSX Type R, which wasn't a popular choice among the racers, so I was left with no option but to put the turbo on the EP3. Worked out quite well in the end, and I think everyone else had turbos anyway.

Just want to apologise because I think I stole pole position for race 1. When I did a lap in the NSX, the time was quick enough for P1. And even though the time I put in with the EP3 wasn't fast enough for P1, the game put me there based on the NSX lap. Just another GT5 bug I guess

Race 1
Not too eventful. Lead from start to finish. Just tried to keep it clean and quick coz the guys behind were keeping me honest.

Race 2
With reverse grid I started from the back. Narrowly avoided a collision with Stumbles as he missed the start. Fought my way up behind Bonus and Trustfire at the front. The only chance I had to make a move was with the draft into turn 1, but with them going side-by-side there was nowhere for me to go so I hung back. This happened for 3 or 4 laps I think until the end of lap 6 where Bonus and Trustfire came out of the final turn side-by-side. With them not getting any draft, I was able to leech off both of them and sailed past before turn 1. Ran a bit wide and Trustfire got back in front but managed to squeeze back past him through the esses to take the win. I don't think I pushed you wide anywhere Trust, but if I did I apologise.

Race 3
Reverse grid again, this time I followed closely behind Trustfire for a few laps while the leaders got away. When I managed to clear him I was catching the pack until I went wide into the sand.
Final lap, came around the final corner to see Bonus just coming out of the sand so it was a drag to the line for the podium spot. Despite his best efforts to put me into the wall :lol: I just pipped him for 3rd.

Thanks for running this Seido. I love seeing the different makes/models, yet still having the racing so close.

There was a good atmosphere there today. I've been thinking of starting a HONDA N/A CUP. I've got a few other series conceptions going too...

This series is turning out quiet well, like you said flood, various models and still good, close racing.
And thanks to GTLOZ giving me the base to run these events easily, and the drivers get get involved easily too.
Great fun.

When I first tested an Audi for Round 4 at Eifel.

lol from memory yeh i did run out of road with a tyre in the sand through the esses, my mic is broken atm so you missed out on my "faaark flood!" was kept to myself lol, nah it was a legitimate move u made i think, spewing i don't have the replay, all good Was an awesome morning of tussling in the Honda's, probably some of my most enjoyable online racing. Good group and will be looking to continue in the series Thanks again Seido

Also I think an N/A low PP cup generally would be awesome.
