Nice ride @Ad2mny. I miss my FZR 1000 which disappeared when the kids came along but these are the sacrifices we make. One day it will be replaced
Same here mate. Twenty years since I last owned a road bike. #69 going on there somewhere lol Soon as the sun comes back out lol. Seem to have upset the weather gods somehow...
I'm very seriously considering an Audi RS5...some very nice examples only a few years old on offer in Perth
Good choice. I love these things. Put my 900ss Duke in the shed in 1986 and bought the first GSXR750. Got the first model GSXR1100 a year or so later. Changed to a 89 model in about 1994. That was extensively modded by me (removed about 25kg - Fitted K1 GSXR 1000 front end and jacked up the rear 50mm) The mods made a huge difference in handling. Bought a cosmetic write off K1 a couple of years back and that came out like new with just 23k on the speedo. Love GSXR's. Very greedy but - They are still in the shed with the Duke. Stay upright and enjoy your return to two wheels mate.
Not sure if I'm sharing this right as I'm not a Facebook user, saw the link on my wife's account, but you guys are beginners in terms of bikes compared to this guy https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=861186417334520&id=689631691156661&_rdr
