Hey legends, A few months ago I got the PSVR2 for my PS5 and just recently a PC capable of running it too (thanks @krunch for the hardware tips). Outside of racing sims, I am keen to expand my VR library. I know a few ROOZers have been at this for a while, so what VR experiences would you most highly recommend so far? On the PS5 I have enjoyed: Resident Evil 4 remake in VR a few times over, to beat professional mode, 3 or 4 playthroughs I think, it was great Resident Evil 8 in VR, twice over, to beat Valley of Shadows mode, started a 3rd just to play with the light saber probably won't progress tho Skydance's Behemoth, on a second (new game+) play through but it's a bit samey same as the first No Man's Sky, limited time in VR - it's really good especially flight but I put so much time into this on flat screen it still feels a little stale Still got my eye on a few other PS5 VR titles so let me know what's worthwhile. Having a look at Steam store there are some cool titles out but could be a minefield going by reviews - so what's worthwhile?! I loved Skyrim back in the day (PS3!) so that and anything similar is appealing but reviews are mixed (Grimlord, Blade & Sorcery) Also a StarWars fan so squadrons has my eye, but again, mixed reviews especially whether it even launches on Win11 anymore? Never played Half-Life but Alyx looks decent, think I would enjoy a VR shooter. What else outside driving sims?! Cheers
Star wars squadrons is great but online was killed by the sweaties On PSVR2 I would go for Hitman for sure, but also Walking Dead, Arken Age, Alien, Metro, Synapse, Moss 1&2, Star Wars TFGE and 2 that I love personally Tetris and The 7th guest. There are many more that I could name but I gotta stop somewhere. Oooh and walkabout mini golf. There are a few of us that have that one and can be a good change.
Nice thanks got a few of those on the wish list already, mostly waiting for good sales. Played the SW TFGE demo it was fun. Alien has very mixed reviews on steam though ok on PSN so not sure if that's game play or platform related. Can you confirm if Squadrons currently runs on Win 11? Do you own / launch it via Steam or Origin?
Can confirm Squadrons is working in Steam VR on Win 11. Woo hoo. Great excuse to use my flight stick for the first time since BF2142 about 15 years ago!
