    The management of our iRacing team would like to offer the fellow members of the Raceonoz forums the opportunity to take part in iRacing's major events and also get a taste of what iRacing is like.

    Our latest member to the team, @SPL Racing said "The enduro’s were a big reason for me coming to iracing and I wasn’t disappointed. One of the best racing experiences I’ve had."

    [IMG]

    The enduro events consist of 24, 12, 10, 6hr duration races, big events such as the Nurburgring 24HR, the Spa 24HR and the classic LeMans 24HR.

    [IMG]

    So what we are offering is:
    1. we set the car up for you.
    2. we put a team schedule and stint planner together.
    3. we help you with guidance to get the license needed to compete in these events.

    [IMG]

    So if you have the facilities to compete in the enduros and wish to team up instead of battling each other week in week out, show your interest below and we can start to get you set up to take part.

    Book me in for Le Mans, it would be a privilege to race alongside someone who is somewhat fairly well known in the Australian iRacing community (by his own admission) ;):roflmao:

    Hey hey hey!
    Don’t tempt me into this. Enduros are a big commitment and I get salty after a crash in a 10 lap race lol.
    I honestly think I don’t have the staying power for these types of races/practice/setups. Im more of a casual gamer :oops:

    I’ve got an idea. (And yes I hurt myself)
    To get into iracing it can be a big commitment, money wise and with time. What about we (the raceonoz site) setup a “Rooz” member account and interested people can try out iracing to see if it’s for them and have this account for a fill in driver at these kind of endurance events.
    I know it would be difficult as the account name comes from the credit card or similar but what if;
    Interested members put their name down,
    Once this number is worked out the share price of the iracing account is split to someth8ng like a $10 or $20 buy in per member,
    Each member gets a set amount of time in the account to race before it handed over to the next to try,
    This could be on day blocks or 2-3 day blocks from a roster,
    Members who love it could then either contribute to a monthly / yearly Rooz iracing account or buy it for themselves,
    Members who don’t like it only end up spending $20 or so to trial it out,
    When needed for special events you can call on members to fill a spot as in the enduros.

    Would this work?

    Sorry to rain on the parade but no it doesn't work as this would violate the iRacing Terms of Use, which
    1) is an agreement explicitly between iRacing and a named person (singular);
    2) states in Section 4.2 "you may not share the account"
    https://members.iracing.com/membersite/termsofuse.jsp

    With 3 month membership term ~$15 and promo code specials down to ~$5 members can already try it out for about $20 even if wanting to buy a couple of pieces of non-rookie content.

    Good idea @Spidey_11 but unfortunately not doable - You can regularly get $5 for 3 months promo deals for new members to trial it - gives you access to the free Road, Oval, Dirt and GRC (RallyX) content

    I wouldn’t say Iracing is something you can dip your toes in to test the waters it’s not project cars,

    It’s basically I work and do nothing else simulator lol, as much as I’d love to be involved I couldn’t regularly find time, Sick idea though

    With your speed I don't think you would have too much of a problem @seth123

    I still only manage to get in a few hours practice one to two nights a week before Sunday's league race. No different to PCars, sure I'm not running at the front and won't ever be able to compete with the full timers but with such big grids the racing is awesome no matter where you are in the pack.

    I also just want to add that the new learning curve going to iracing can be quite intimidating especially if you are not great with computers (like me) but everyone in the team is more than willing to help in any way. @Giant slayer puts in massive hours to help any new members get set up and running. I would be absolutely shagged without all his help so don't let that hold you back.

    Yep, I had races last season where I started about 40th and finished around 15th, to me that felt like a win!
