A slightly disaapointng end to a thoroughly enjoyable season. Didn't start out well, but once I got used to the car and on friendlier tracks, I found my groove and come home with a wet sail. Last nght my earlier stop back onto the softs nearly paid off, giving me 2 chances to pass @emmo46 but the wiley old fox held me off. In my exuberance to stay on his tail, I overcooked turn 1, letting Moon past and scuppering my 2nd place in the championship.

    Season recap:
Thanks for a good season all. Cool to see such variation as previously mentioned in each week's results.
For myself however, that will be a season to forget. Could not get in/nor stay in the groove for this one. Maybe it was my absence in the season prior (and no time in the seat while fixing net and rig issues), maybe it was the car, who knows, but feel as though I'd left a lot on the table through general performance, preparation, and amatuer mistakes (I'm looking at you wet Le Man!) which then leads to maybe some desperation and cracks on the track.
I still enjoyed it for what it was though and the racing overall was close, respectful and enjoyable, good division.

    This weeks recap:
Quali: A few wheel disconnects during quali meant I missed my opportunity to put in a decent time until my last lap which was issue free until late in the lap where I overreached in attempt to get up the ranks and had a little slide and lost probably 2secs putting me 10th.
Race: Ok start and again maybe a bit too eager in towards halfway of lap 1 in going for what looked like a safe enough gap on the outside of Ozglen, but got just enough of a bump to send me into the gravel. After getting out was a number of seconds behind 12th and so began the classic Cobber crawl from P13. Rain hit and felt like I had a fairly decent stint on the inters and by the time slicks were on again I was able to get up to P6. On the final few laps was hunting down Britz & K.Brown but took some understeer and touched a curb which spun me down to P9 where I finished.

@Kieran_B33 You were still pinballing again this race? Maybe not strictly the data as you've mentioned?

    GG all

Could you (or anyone else who has saved the replay) share it, i'd like to take a look.
Either way its a 4g hotspot its not going to be perfect and will have spikes of latency.
Going to try look at starlink and get it set up for next season.
    Cheers

It's been a season to forget for me. You get out what you put in normally, and I didn't really make time to practice unlike in the past, so had some disappointing but not unexpected results. Especially in such a competitive division. I would usually end up starting well, make up a few positions, but eventually get tangled up in some accident and lose my rhythm, and just spiral from there.
The rain at Spa was interesting, I think that might have been my first ROOZ race with unscheduled rain. I'll save the details but it didn't work out well.
I also tried to highlight some liveries of Art Car Round

You certainly did. I a number of rounds in the pre-race practice you set blistering times in comparison to the rest of us, a 2:01 on Sunday. I had to keep my wits about me at the High Speed Ring to keep ahead of you.

Cobber was always quick, luck was never with him from what I saw on the replays.
Had luck been with him I dare say it would have been 4 people who could have won the championship in the last round
The first 2 races he was a punching bag
Le Mans he forgot to buy weather tyres.
Just some examples from the top of my head. All those times he was at the pointy end of the grid

All this season's division 3 highlights are thanks to Emmo who helped with the notes, which is the long and challenging part.
Going through a whole race and fishing out the exciting or interesting parts to show everyone is actually a boring part of it to do. I do have to thank @emmo46 for his dedication to help me produce these.
It is why I do ask now and again for those who are in the lobby to suggest what to add in, makes the video more worth while and brings to the front what you want to see from the race, to be etched into RaceOnOz history.
It was Hoges who suggested the Waltz of the flowers in the rain section of Le Mans, he has to take credit for that joke which then was repeated into the Div 4 Spa race.
