    I know it's a bit late now, but what if it was run as a GR.3 season for example ?
    Then individuals could pick a car of their own choosing in that tier and stick with it for the season.
    Or does this not really work due to having advantages in certain cars?

    correct. Certain cars are better than others, so we keep the car the same.

    However anyone can run community events with different cars etc to mix things up
