Following on from a hugely successful series in GT6:
    https://www.raceonoz.com/forums/ind...z-take-it-to-the-street-club-id-1066294.1590/

Which was again continued into GT Sport (less successfully due to the drop of the PP rating and lack of Nitrous):
    https://www.raceonoz.com/forums/ind...oz-take-it-to-the-street-under-pressure.3030/

    There are 6 car classes:
    (U) Ultra Street - 750PP - racing hard
    (H) Hyper Street - 650pp - sports soft
    (S) Super Street - 550pp - sports hard
    (J) Jump Street - 550pp - sport hard (1999 or older only)
    (C) Classic Street - 500pp - comfort soft (1979 or older only)
    (R) Ramsey Street - 450pp - comfort soft

Tuning is open and the only restriction on cars is that they must be road cars (certain cars that are much much faster than the competition may be excluded)
    (NOS is allowed)

Instead of points, drivers earn rep.
30 rep for a win, 15 for second and then 1 less for the next positions (14-3rd, 13-4th etc)
(Events under the this umbrella may use their own scoring systems, however rep will still be earned as listed above and penalties must remain)

A maximum of 2 drivers will be locked in to a specific car and no other drivers can use the same exact car. (each driver may have 5 cars. Your garage of 5 cars must be able to cover the 6 classes
If a driver is not happy with their car choice, they may unlock it and lock in a new car. If the car swapped out has won at least 1 race, and another driver chooses to swap it into their garage, it will still have the win counted.

After a car wins 5 races, it is retired for that driver and unable to be selected by another driver (permanently retired) - If a second driver has the car they can continue to use it until they either win 5 or swap it out.

Any ROOZ member can setup an event/series on any night to run in street setup and have their rep updated here. (minimum 6 drivers)

Here is an alphabetised table of all taken cars for easier reference when selecting a car:

So obviously the issue we have is that in lobbies we cannot see the PP each car has so we can't check that after a win, someone reduces their car PP to the right number.
My thought on how to do this differently is that the PP does not reduce for the winning car. A winning car is allowed 5 wins and then it is forcefully retired.

Could everyone please post their input into ideas on how to run this within the games limitations, and also register your expression of interest + days of the week you would prefer this run on.

For me, Tues or Thurs probably work best but I could be swayed to Mon or Wed

I think we need to have a good think about the rules, I have been grinding the Tokyo 600 for fun and credits. I have used about 2 dozen mostly mildly tuned cars at 600PP to win it and there is a big disparity in performance. I have been using road cars and have found the quickest car for me is an un tuned Aventador, just power dropped to get under 600PP and nothing else done. It laps 2-3 seconds a lap better then any of the tuned cars I have set up. I have seen where some guys do weird tunes on the tomahawk to get to 600PP and can lap 50 seconds a lap better than my best. I think it is going to be very difficult to get a competitive field. The tyres also have an affect on PP in GT7, I run SH to allow my cars to have more power than the AI on SM and SS. It is generally quicker to run harder tyres especially at Tokyo with that loong straight

I tried RH and SS tyres on my Miura at 600pp. All tuning parts installed, full ballast and lowered power until it was under 600pp.
SS tyres were a little slippery, but the slide happened gradually, however with RH the car obviously had more grip but when traction broke, it was more of an unpredictable snap. Also with grippier tyres, the cars power would need to be reduced or weight increased. So I think at least for tyres we should stick close to what we used to run in the first TITTS. So I'd suggest:
    (H) Hyper Street - 600pp - sports soft
    (S) Super Street - 500pp - sports hard
    (J) Jump Street - 500pp - sport hard (1999 or older only)
    (R) Ramsey Street - 400pp - comfort soft
    (C) Classic Street - 400pp - comfort soft (1979 or older only)
    (L) Learners Street - 350pp - comfort hard (maybe drop this one to start with)

The other question is with car exclusivity.
Kudosprime GT7 carlist filtered to road cars returns 256 cars, including VGT and Gr.3 road cars which are not allowed.

Would we allow each car to be 'owned' by 3 drivers max?

    Thoughts?

My error, I use SH, not RH.

What lap times are you getting in the Muira? My best is 2:08.4 in the stock Lambo. I can usually manage three or four 2:09s in the race.

I was at a different track.

Was also thinking, we used to run reverse grid for races 2-4. But without it, we will need a 1 lap qually for each race. The previous race winner could sit out this qually and start rear of grid

Looking at the PP numbers, in GT6, only power and weight upgrades counted, but now all upgrades do, including tyres. So it would probably be worth increasing the PP numbers for each class.
    How about:
    (H) Hyper Street - 800pp - sports soft
    (S) Super Street - 650pp - sports hard
    (J) Jump Street - 650pp - sport hard (1999 or older only)
    (R) Ramsey Street - 500pp - comfort soft
    (C) Classic Street - 500pp - comfort soft (1979 or older only)

    Is that too low/high?
