@Apex_64 thanks for organising. A good couple of races and tight battles.

Just had a quick look at the race 2 replay and have reviewed my effort and I am very disappointed with myself. Over the last couple of weeks I did a dozen off line races and in the two of those where I didn't crash I had race times of 29:09 and 29:13. I crashed at least 6 times last night and I don't know if I am getting too old or my ear problems have something to do with it but I don't have the consistency I was proud of in the past. Pre crashes last night I was really enjoying the racing. I hope that my errors didn't ruin it for anybody.

You didn't effect any other drivers except maybe ones like me who wish we had more chance to race eachother.
I share your pain and anguish, I have gone from driving approximately 3000km a week on GT6 to 50km a week on GT7. I did 1 session of practice and did a few 12.4s. Thought I would be reasonable, and thought I could atleast keep it with ADZA, alas no.
Not only was I inconsistent within laps, the more I pushed the slower I got. Rookie reactions braking later etc.
Definitely father time is catching up with me as my reflexes to save are non existent which leads to nerves growing about mistakes.
You are so quick and consistent for a man of your vintage, you still inspire me, and with Keeden gone, my no.1 inspiration now. My hat is dipped to you sir, your a legend.

Yes, you used to be lighting quick across the top and down the dipper, but I found last night I was pulling away from you on the downhill part, and I was being cautious.

Lost it twice approaching the dipper behind xtendedwarranty clipping grass patch both times, and lost it through Skyline twice in race1.
Lost all confidence and started to drive like a nanna through Skyline and the dipper.
I need to drive the sim more, or I have lost it.
Like emmo consistency used to be my friend, we are not on good terms anymore:rolleyes:

The latest physics have reduced alot of front end grip and the turn in isnt there.
Was my first time back at GT7 since the Toyota GT1 last event and i noticed how much more cautiaus i needed to be, breaking a bit earlier and balancing the throttle, particularly at the dipper.

In race 1, @emmo46 i felt bad after i was on your tail into the dipper and i think you just caught a bit of spin, meaning i finished you off with no where to go.

Everyone had some great pace at times and it was a race of less errors = victory.
But +1 to the age thing.

was a great night thanks for putting it on and for a change I found some pace even though I did get the jump in the first race the gap did go from 7 to 18 by the end. much closer in the second with ME starting in 5th and having to make my way through the pack. so close exchanges in the last couple with ADZA. (sorry about the door by door in turn 2, car slipped off the ripple to make contact) tried to give it back at the chase but you went deep and I crisscrossed you. very tight across the line.

Just watched both race replays in full, great racing in both races, we should have more events like this.

Just watched the replay and the tap definitely was my undoing, I may have survived without it but there was nowhere for you to go, so no heat from me. It was great racing up to that point for me and the battle for second with that group on my tail was intense.
