I'm hopefully getting a visit from an old racing buddy with a ps4 under his arm so I can test it out soon. Will let you know if my T500 feels out of whack. My driving is not very good unless I practice alot(that actually means a lack of talent) so still trying to work out AC......getting other sim ATM will probably give me a brain bleed
That thread is enough to make me gag. I have nowhere near enough time required to mess with that stuff PLUS work out how to setup the car... especially with all of these aspects that I've never touched on a game before like tyre pressure... I use my T500 stock. LIKE A BOSS. EDIT: The ONLY chance that I would mess with FFB is if the game proves to have longevity on console - ie. whether ROOZ sticks with it or not.
just download the google docs file then copy the settings on the spreadsheet, pretty simple really. Just try it for 1 car....
Come on @Crunch, it couldn't hurt to try something different, it can add a whole new level of challenge and immersion to the game.
I'm going to do some GT3 testing over the weekend...I've got a little test program worked out and everything hahaha That's the beauty of PCARS, you can test a tune and then change something small and actually feel a difference! Having a wheel completely changes the gaming experience, so much feedback and information comes back through the wheel (T300 for me anyway). The fact that there are no power or performance upgrades is also really good as it levels the playing field to some degree. This will definitely become the premier game for ROOZ in my opinion...until GT7 at least...
Just a suggestion, perhaps a mod could assist here. Since many people are considering PCARS but need a wheel, perhaps if enough people get together (say 15-20) and do a group order of the T300 from one of our sponsors? Might be able to get a really good price for such a large order...
Hi guys long time no post I still been visiting and reading the goings on though. I've picked this up on pc and wouldn't mind getting involved in some race nights with decent racers now that I have a decent 4g WiFi plan ( I'm out of adsl range) my steam id is teknique. One thing I found is you have to change your steam download region to see more games in the lobby. I had my steam download region set to Adelaide Australia and was only seeing one or two rooms in the lobby, I thought gee this game is dead online then I remembered on f12012 if you changed your region to london UK you would see heaps more tried it on pc cars last night and I saw about 50 rooms, even had a race with 30 people last night was kaos though. Cheers fellas, tek
Hey mate, yeah, ideally I'd go the pc version but I'm doubting I'd be able to run max, the ol girl's getting on a bit now and if I can't run something maxed out I'll just opt for the console version. In regards to wheel support, slightly mad and fanatec have both stated the gt2 is compatible with the ps4 version, I had just hoped someone might've had some actual experience with it, I know Anon used a gt2 at one point, correct me if I'm wrong.
A not so dry lap or 4 around Hockenheimring thanks to the muppet hosting this MP lobby (PC) Fortunately I was kinda prepared as I did this race a week earlier And just messing around in an MP Quali session - first flying lap
how many people on PROJECT CARS on the computer compared to ps4 cannot decide which way to go whether to up grade pc for ASSetto corsa and PCCArs with ag27 wheel or ps4 with thustmaster wheel which will be about the same expense i think can any one help i am totally confused
