    Hi all,

    I have got on the new WRC game and have made a club named RaceOnOz but here is the link as well:

    Gave Rally Italia Sardegna a go last night in the Junior WRC Class. Currently P4 in the world around the Monte Muvri stage. Had a little bit of a moment in the later part of the stage but other than that, it was a decent run.

    Current WR time around Vila Boa in Portugal. Gave myself a challenge and went in the I20N which has 20 less horsepower than the Skoda.

    Sorry for the late reply. This was captured on PS5. As for comparisons. Visually Dirt Rally 2.0 looks better than EA WRC only slightly. Physics feel very similar which is a good thing. What I love about EA WRC is the length of the stages. Love tackling 20-30km stages with any car. But overall EA WRC is a really fun game.

    I haven't spent that long on EA WRC yet but generally agree with this but I find the game experience is much less consistent than DR2. So far I've pretty much only done a handful of events in moments.

    I have found some aspects of the physics in 4wd cars a bit weird and inconsistent across car classes. For instance there is a moments race season 1 in the Audi Quattro, mostly tarmac, no matter what I did with the car tune I couldn't get it to throttle (over) steer. Maximum rear torque bias, maximum rear diff lock, and minimum front diff lock, actually seemed to make it throttle understeer more?! Despite the fact there is loads of lift off oversteer. Yet I find the handling and ability to throttle steer RWD cars is excellent.

    Findings wheel settings for a familiar and consistent feel across various car classes and surfaces also takes a bit more effort than DR2 I think.

    Visually the game is quite inconsistent. Some locations look superb and others look terrible, like PS3 kind of terrible. Plus the screen tearing is real.

    Same with the group B Peugeot at Greece. All the rear torque bias, diff lock, stiffest rear springs, zero front diff lock, still all the understeer.....zero ability to throttle steer, front just pulls around like an fwd.

    Also no pace notes at Finland... ‍♂️

    Still struggling to get to get to grips with or really enjoy many of the 4wd cars in WRC but at least RWD is working for me.
