And this is the bit i dont get... Why is some of there stuff ported over and others not... A huge range of cars and tracks used before now not included. Licencing ??? Grand Valley ?? What a track that was.
Everything from the PS3, let alone the PS2-spec standard models, had to be remade from scratch, hence the clearly genre-leading graphics and, as a byproduct, the drastically shortened car list. That includes the tracks sadly
And speaking of being made from scratch, I've a theory that a more complete game would have been released, perhaps on Mar 4th, had it been restricted to PS5 only. I suspect, no proof here just conjecture, that Sony pressured PD into the PS4/PS5 release due to the supply chain issues affecting PS5 availability causing PD to likely go back to the drawing board on a a fair bit of stuff to make that work, hence the issues we're seeing e.g. the time-zone credit hack, the buggy half-baked multiplayer.
Peugeot 205 rally car handbrake works as expected on dirt but on tarmac it locks all four wheels, even with the clutch in. Anyone else experience this in this or other cars ?
I have read a few places on the internet that suggest this is actually correct for the (actual) Group B rally cars. Unfortunately I can't find a proper verifiable source apart from some random people saying so though. The Porsche 917K in-game has the tachometer only moving a few degrees at a time, which is actually correct for the car as well. Given that degree of detail it makes me think that PD have probably also modelled the Group B handbrake characteristics as per the actual cars.
This custom R32 is an absolute drift weapon! Even better to drift than the Subaru BRZ Drift Car '17 I reckon! Plus it sounds awesome Maximum engine tuning, torque distribution controller, fully adjustable diffs, height adjustable sports suspension, body mods. Oh, also steering adapter and hydro handbrake of course
How are people finding GT7 so far. I've not played since GT6 and it seems to be much the same with a few issues and more shiny stuff to admire. JB phoned me to say I can buy a PS5 now but I'm kind of on the fence if it's worth it right now given I don't play all that much and I mostly stick to PC. Maybe I wait for a PS5 slim or dare I hope for a PC version of GT7? I probably wouldn't be rushing to upgrade my steering wheel either so would be stuck with the gamepads.
A made a rather long post about it somewhere above. Consider reading up for a good review. The only things that have really changed are a far more advanced sports tire model and feel and a much more dull and lifeless racing tire model. Makes weight shift in race cars a real challenge to get to grips with, too far in my opinion.
Have to tweak the setup slightly like this and it still works after latest 1.13 update Inters setup: Been doing the Tokyo race once a day every day and I no longer have money concerns lol
I do up to 5 Tokyo races at a time but only a couple of times a week. What car do you use and what race/lap times do you get?
I use the tomahawk as per above vid with setup for inters and do the whole race under 18mins including a tyre change pitstop.
