    Hi All
Welcome to Season 4 ACC PS4 Teams Championship

For the new Members please take a moment to read through the FULL Raceonoz Regulations

    http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/racing-rules-regulations.70/
    http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/procedure-for-post-race-complaints-or-protests.193/

For everyone have a read of the tips/tricks/fixes for pertinent information regarding entering the server, race starts and pitstops.
    https://www.raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/acc-tips-tricks-fixes.4198/

Please read through the following information. Individual track briefings will be as short as possible.

    Contact and Redressing
ACC is unforgiving and contact will result in an accident. The usual Rubbin’-is-Racin’ doesn’t apply for ACC. Contact should be avoided at all costs. If you knock another driver off track, don’t drive past them if you have caused the contact. Give the spot back, and then continue your race. The 2 most common mistakes in contact are rear end contact where you 'punt' someone off, or if you get in too hot, and make contact on the side as they take their normal line.

    Protests and Stewards
If something happens in the race that you feel is unfair or rough driving that affects you or is against the spirit of the league, please save your replay and let us know through the stewards group. Don’t crack the :):):):)s and blow up. The reason for the stewards group is to apply penalties in cases where drivers have done the wrong thing.

The stewards process will be -
    - someone puts a protest in to me via discord or the Forum, even if they are protesting against me.
    - I will create a conversation on the forum between the Stewards.
    - Captain will be added to the conversation and are there to observe only. They will NOT contribute. If they do they will be removed from the conversation.
    - In the meantime, the Protest will be posted to the forum with a PENDING status. Any footage provided to the stewards will be posted here for all to see.
    - Once the decision has been handed down then the Status will be changed. If there is an appeal then that will be added to the post with the PENDING status until that is finalised.
    - Provisional Results will be posted to the forum and discord at the ASAP after the race and amended as the protest progresses until it is finalised and the Results made official.
    - If myself or a Captain is involved in the protest, the protest will be create with all relevant members then they will be removed.
    - Stewards will continue to be Rolz (Rooz ACC PC Mod), Hatfield (Rooz GTSport Mod), Cornford (Rooz ACC PC racer). Appeals will continue to go through Koastr (Rooz Bossman).

When making a protest or appeal, you can only reference the Rooz Rules & Regulations posts and documents whos links are posted at the top of the Driver Briefing.

    Race Start Procedure
We will be performing a Long Formation lap, follow in game instruction and race will start at the green light. If server disconnects or drivers disconnect on the grid/lap 1 then the server will be restarted with a single file lap.

Single file lap start procedure as follows:
    - Perform short formation lap.
    - Once in-game green light is given, the leader will continue on at a constant pace. ie 100Kph
    - Drivers are to fall into single file line.
    - No one is allowed to pit on this formation lap.
    - Race will start when the leader crosses the start/finish line as indicated on the map. Leader cannot accelerate until this point.
    - Drivers that receive drive through penalties are allowed to drive ahead and complete the penalty, but they must start from pitlane and cannot go until the field has gone passed.
    - If anyone is forced to start from the pits then they can leave and take their qualifying position in the order.
    - There is to be no weaving or excessive acceleration/braking after the last corner.
    - The leader must slow to 70 - 80 Kmh from the last corner so that the field bunches up. The Leader cannot accelerate until after they have crossed the control line as indicated on the map. If the leader does accelerate before the control line eg out of the last corner, then the next car takes control of the field and can't accelerate until they have crossed the control line.
    - Staggered start is allowed but there is to be no overlap with the car in front and you cannot accelerate before that car.
    - Start infringements will be looked at on a case by case basis.

    Start Formation
    • Please respect other drivers and stay in your grid position.
    • Do not stay ‘ghosted’ within an y other car especially in the final phase of the formation lap. It not acceptable to take another car’s position before the start.
    • If ACC fails to give a penalty for being out of position, then the Admin team will issue a post-race penalty.
    • Drivers need to be side by side with their row partner and must maintain a reasonable gap to the cars ahead prior to the lights going green, regardless of the speed of the cars ahead.
    • It is recommended that you remain in line with the car ahead, being too far to the inside of the grid will give you an in-game penalty.
    • Drivers are to stop all weaving and brake warming once the double file segment of the lap begins.

The Kunos starting system is not perfect and still allows cars to be a fair way out of place by the time the lights turn green. We will issue warnings or penalties to drivers that we believe are gaining an unfair advantage or disadvantaging others.

Avoiding Lap 0 and Lap 1 Carnage!
    • Take extra care as the lights go green as all cars will be in a tight, accelerating pack:
    • Expect cars to be much closer to you and varying in speed due to all the others around so try to leave a tad more space.
    • Assume there are cars in your blind spots and and on the other side of visible cars until the pack spreads out more.
    • Wait until the GREEN light disappears and the proximity indicator is shown before deciding to change direction.
    • Avoid sudden direction changes unless you are sure you are well clear.

    • In braking zones you must brake SIGNIFICANTLY earlier than you would in general racing.
    • If on a straight section don't drift - stay straight.
    • Approach each situation with caution but execute your driving with intelligence.
    • If you need to redress in this tight pack situation keep going until you can move out of the traffic safely before slowing down

    Disconnections
In the event of a Server dropout, the server will be restarted with the following procedure:
    • JJ_Penguin will setup the server to have 5min prac & Race with remaining time + 3mins
5min practice is to give people time to re-enter the server. LEAVING PITLANE IS PROHIBITED.
    • The race will start as usual, the extra 3 mins will allow for drivers to form up and perform a single file race start as mentioned above.
    • If an individual disconnects from the Server during Qualifying, you will be able to re-enter. You will NOT be able to enter the server Once the race starts. If you disconnect on lap 1 then the Server will be restarted.
    Race Time & Weather
Weather conditions will be set 1 week out from the race. It will be set as indicated in the Race Schedule as being dry, wet or variable. Time of day and temp will variable, and will be posted in the driver briefing.

    Pitstops
    Mandatory Pitstop: 2
    Pit Window: None
    Race refuelling: Yes
    Mandatory Tyre: No
    Mandatory Fuel: Yes

    Replays & Protests
Drivers must assign a button for 'Save Replay'. The game only records 3 - 4 mins. If you are involved in an incident, saving the replay will be critical for any protests. Press the Save Replay Button 30 - 40 secs after the incident to ensure the moment is recorded.

    Party Chat

Party Chat will be setup for both Servers. I suggest joining the chat for practice, then you can choose to leave or start your own, that is up to you. But try to join the server chat at the end of the race. Personally, I prefer to have chat off during races.

    Blue Flags
The Following rule is from the Rooz Rulebook and will be administered in ACC. Breaches will incur penalties if deemed necessary by stewards.

(ix) If you are being lapped do not attempt to race the passing car. Blue flag rules apply. Meaning you must concede track position to drivers on the lead lap within a reasonable time frame. If you are battling for position with another driver some concession can be made, but at your next available opportunity (such as before the braking zone on a straight), you should concede track position. A rule of thumb for a reasonable time frame is within four corners, unless you can pull away (out of slip stream range) during this time due to fresher tyres for example.

A Lapped car has 4 corners from the 1st blue flag to yield to the lapping car. Blue flags beyond the 4th corner may incur penalties on a case by case basis. If a lapped car gains back their lap by overtaking a car on the lead lap then they have 1 lap to break blue flag or they will be required to give the position back.

Good Luck All, looking forward to see you all on track!

    Race - 60 mins- 8:20pm - 9:20p,pm - in-game time 17:00 - multiplier x 1

    Lap 1
Race start will be a long formation lap. Care needs to be taken at Copse, Maggots and Becketts on lap 1.
Note: the start/finish shown above is the F1 start and not the line used for ACC. The start line is between Woodcote and Copse.

    Pitlane
Be mindful of cars that are close by when you want to enter pit lane as you will need to cut to right after the exit of Luffield. Pit exit takes onto the ideal line heading into Maggotts. Do not impede other cars in qualifying. You can cut the pit exit line but if incidents occur then penalties will take that into account.

    Track Limits
The limits are quite lenient at Silverstone. A couple of places to be mindful of running wide are Copse, Stowe & Club.

    Good luck

    Race - 60 mins- 8:20pm - 9:20pm - in-game time 17:00 - multiplier x 3

    Lap 1
Race start will be a long formation lap. Extra care needs to be taken on the first lap as this is a tight and windy track. Be respectful and give racing room.
Cars can be side by side through the Turn 1- 3 but Turn 4 (Old Hairpin) is a pinch point and will be hot spot for incidents on Lap 1. The car that has the inside for Turn 3 will be on the racing line for Turn 4. The car on the outside of Turn 3 will be required to yield track position to the car on the inside, in order to avoid collisions at Turn 4. This is for Lap 1 only.

    Pitlane
Pit exit will put the on the racing line for Turn 1. During qualifying, look at the map and see where cars are on track and do not impede cars that are on flying lap. During the race, hold your line coming into Turn 1 and avoid sudden movements across the track.

    Track Limits
Be mindful of track limits on the exit of Old Hairpin and Fogarty Esses.

    Good luck

    Race Start Procedure
    - All races will have a manual double file race start
    - Drivers must form up from the moment double file race start is announced by race engineer.
    - Drivers are to maintain 70kms from the exit of the 2nd last corner. Small increases and decreases are allowed to form the grid.
    - The Lead 2 drivers must travel at adequate pace for the grid to form. This will mean they need to slow down at times. check the map
    - Drivers are not to weave or excessively increase speed once the race start is announced.
    - Drivers need to be side by side with their row partner.
    - Drivers must maintain a reasonable gap to the cars ahead prior to the lights going green, regardless of the speed of the cars ahead.
    - GO on the GREEN light, regardless of where on track the green light is given.
    - Race start will be saved by the commentary team.

    Lap 1
Lap 1 turn 1 - 3 is a hotspot for carnage. It is inevitable. Take extra caution to brake early & stay in you lane through the Turn 1 - 3.

Race start will be a long formation lap and double file race start with the UI showing. Make sure you stay side by side with your grid partner. You will need to watch the Proximity Indicator to line up with the car beside.

If a server restart is required then the formation lap will be manual without the UI.

    Pitlane
You can cross the pit exit line as long as it is safe to do so and you do not cause a collision.

    Blue Flags
A reminder of the blue flag rules. you must concede track position to drivers on the lead lap within a reasonable time frame. If you are battling for position with another driver some concession can be made, but at your next available opportunity (such as before the braking zone on a straight), you should concede track position. A rule of thumb for a reasonable time frame is within four corners.

    Yellow Flags
There are a number of blind corners and crests at this circuit. Make note of yellow flag warnings and listen to the race engineer. Caution should be take to avoid making accidents worse.

    Protest Reporting
If you wish to protest can incident from the race then your first point of contact will be your team captain. The onus is on you to provide replay footage for the protest, make sure you have a button mapped to save replays.

    Good luck
