ok all - generic post to all Divs.. - IgnitiON Controls will be the official sponsor for this season, and has confirmed he will be supplying a button box and encoder as prizes. I will post details as i get them, but the usual 5/7 rounds will need to be raced to be eligible for the draw. - I have gone through and posted 'PROVISIONAL' grid placements from the entry list. If you see someone that is clearly out of position, please send me a PM and we will look at it. As more entries come in, there may be adjustments to those placements - If you see you are in a division, and feel you are in the wrong div, again, send me a PM and we will look at it. Except @Kart-No-1 .... he is staying in Div 1 - If you know of anyone that i am missing, or that wants to join it looks like we will have a few spots to fit drivers in. I am still waiting for a few people to confirm, but will be running with a full 16 car grid in Div 1 and then try to even the div 2,3,4 and 5 grid evenly where possible - As always, the track list will be released on the afternoon of meet and greet. - We will sort the teams for teams championship in the week after meet and greet, by which time drivers should be confirmed in their division, and new drivers will also be placed. In terms of the car, from testing i have found the following - Some tracks suit the loose setting, while others suit the stable setting. I have found that tracks where the car gets 'light' suits the stable, flatter tracks suit the loose....will always suit your driving style though, and you will have to test a little when we release the track list to you - The only things you can adjust are ABS and TC, along with having the clutch on or off. If you run clutch OFF, you will need to have a slight lift on the upshifts, and a blip of the throttle on the downshifts. - The tyres wear well, but we will still have a compulsory pit stop to mix things up a little... Particularly if there is a pack you want to get out of. Not long to go now guys, Just a case of tidying a few things up in the next few weeks than we can get into it ! Stu
Quick update guys... Ive been flat out this week at work so hoping to get final provisional divs set up tonight. Will be a couple of adjustments to div placements, mainly a small shuffle up as i had 2 spots available in div 1 The plan will be 16 in div 1, then a spread for divs 2,3,4 and 5. Again, if you see someone that is out of position please let me know, but we will know more after meet and greet Meet and greet is Sunday night, ill sort out room hosts as well tonight, most are sorted though, a carry on from last season. ! Ill try set up the PSN chats tonight as well..... Thanks stu
ok guys, Track list is up and we have gone with a European flavour... Have gone with a few tracks that havent been run much, but should also give great racing. For those who havent run a lot yet, there is a difference between "stable" and "loose" setup, where if the car gets light, and its hard to keep straight, then stable might be the best option. Up to you though ! Remember to be eligible for the end of season IgnitiON Controls prize, you must run 5 of the 7 rounds. We will make final adjustments to the divs after tonights 'Meet and greet', and then get the teams championship sorted early next week. Hope its a great season guys Stu / Ads and Gary
Turn 2/3 at Zolder in the wet is EVIL! Radical suggestion: add rain for the second half of hockenheim, a'la F1 2019. You know it makes sense @stucar17
Hey guys, Thanks to everyone that ran the meet and greet last night... A couple of adjustments to div placements and i will try to do that today. There was also an issue (highlighted by all divs !) with the wet round at Zolder so we will be looking at that today and adjusting with possibility of running the wet at the following round at Hockenheim..... I will confirm that change as soon as i can. The main thing is that if you ARE NOT going to run the season PLEASE let me know if we have you in a division list so i can adjust to make the numbers as even as i can. Thanks stu
Alright you lot, getting closer to being sorted for round 1.... - WET ROUND - HOCKENHEIM is now the wet round, we have done a straight swap. Was a group of us that tested a wet zolder last night, and regardless or the format we used the issue at 2-3 couldnt be fixed. I did a full race distance at Hockenhein with @CobMcCool and the track was fine, so the wet regs will transfer straight across - DIV PLACEMENT - hope to get that sorted by tonight. is only a couple of slight adjustments with new drivers and a couple of possible swaps - Once that is finalised, we will get the teams championship sorted. - I will have the driver briefing out on FRIDAYS. If there is anything you want clarification on before then, please send me a PM AGAIN, if we have your name in a division list, and you are NOT RUNNING THE SEASON please let us know. If its just a case of missing a round please let your division know. Is nothing worse thinking of a 14 car grid and 7 drivers show up ! Should be all ready to go by thursday ! Cheers stu
Driver briefing is up guys. http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/season-12-driver-briefings.4158/ For next week i will just put in the round / track specific stuff, and use the info in the first briefing so its not so long ! If anyone has any questions re the round regs please ask in here !
Hello all fellow racers. Could you all please have a quick look though the points table in the link below and ensure your Driver name, Team & DIV allocation is correct. If not please comment in that thread and I will update where required. http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/season-12-championship-tables-results.4155/
Good race last night, happy to come away with a win. Agree with Bounty, having a full grid is good to see and for me the first lap looking in the rear vision was just a train of BMW Stanceworxs. Frightened the crap out of me, hence why I pitted at the end of lap 1. looking forward to the rest of the season. cheers
Great race last night agreed was good to have a full near grid. My race didn't quite pan out the way I had hoped for. Qualified well in 5th and got a reasonable start like @Adam Parsons said it was a little busy lap 1 so pitted lap behind Adam got got checked up a little bit which made @dj2ca Bork and nearly have a spin sorry mate. Came out and really struggled with grip had some great battles on the way round but had too many half spins or under steers off the road to be competitive. Ended up in a battle with @Aykay @disturboed @freddyp_33 @garyw61 I think and maybe 1 more, I got a great run on ayk and freddy only to get too much curb westfield bend and spun luckily nit touching anyone and went from 5th/6th to 10th. oh well always next week. Congrats to Adam on the win and DJ and Bounty on the podium well done gents Catch you in track Ant
Guys, this is a generic post that will be going out to all drivers on all platforms. For the PCARS drivers nothing more than a refresher / reminder of what is accepted and tolerated. Have had no issues for a long time here. http://raceonoz.com/forums/index.php?threads/conduct-notice.4167/ Mod team.

Ok guys, qualifying start time for tonight and rest of season will be 8.20 Sydney time and race start time will be 8.30. @stucar17 can you update OP please?
Wow what a race. Qualified not as well as I was hoping in eighth and then the screen froze. Full PS reset and onto a rolling start. Got a good start as did @garyw61 from behind me. We both picked up a few spots in the first few corners and then a couple up front pitted. Then it became a battle with Gary @Bounty05 myself and @brenticles. I was thinking pit lap 4 or 5 but we where not really holding one another up and the concentration level was helping me keep it on the road. There was under and overs side-by-side you name it was all going on but no touching bumps or rubs respect gents. Bounty and Brent pitted leaving Gazza and myself fighting I was watching @Adam Parsons and @Aykay fighting behind but not really closing the gap to us but when I actually took notice of the gap I realised that they would get us in the pits. So I put the thinking cap on and worked out it was better to pit with 2 laps to go and hoped Gaz wasn't planning the same. My in and out lap had to be good, I'm not sure how I didn't get a penalty on the way in because I went in hot came out in clean air with Brent not too far behind. Coming around for the final lap and Gazza was still in pits I snuck past and Gaz came out side by side with Brent and I knew all I had to do was 1 more clean lap and I managed to do it and get my first podium finish for quite a while. Congratulations Aadman on the win and Ayka on second. Gaz thank for the great race mate 20 odd laps off pressure was intense. Loved every minute of it. Catch you on track. Ant
The first 10 or so laps was insane, a great battle for the lead so I decided to let you guys through and battle it out (LOL) Great racing guys, well done.
