We can't have SuperROOZ members without one of the people who was a driving force of getting this community off the ground in the first instance..... @KoAStR , or ‘boss man’ as he is now known, has been around since day dot, and had a hand in almost everything you see on the site. The set up and now the backend maintenance and upkeep can be a big job, and thankfully he put his hand up for it when @Juzzo decided to step aside. Just quietly, his ability behind the wheel has to be highlighted as well, he is very competitive in any series he has been a part of..... Check this out for a record! It started in Season 1 of GT5, however the joys of the internet have banished those results to the outer parts of the universe..... Needless to say he wasn’t in the top 3! From there on in it's pretty impressive reading Season 2 he was R/U to @trl_beau in the Supra, Season 3 he was 3rd in the Temora again between Beau and @Paulie , Season 4 he was again on the podium with a third in the Mclaren.....He was well and truly in the mix for race wins and podiums every time he jumped in the Div 1 grid. In the early part of 2011 we welcomed Pagnian as a sponsor, and we ran a 1 off prize race, where interested drivers had to qualify to make the grid... The race was in a Tuned Ferrari 458 around Tokyo Reverse, and after 38 laps it was koastr who came out top, and added a Pagnian cockpit to his household furniture ! See the race highlights below.... In October 2011, he jumped on the site one day to tell us he was out for a little while after having his PS3 among other things stolen. The little bastards even stole his ice cream from the fridge! This led him to poke around in iRacing, and in January of 2012 we had our first iRacing championship, where he again finished 3rd in the series with 5 second place finishes. He finished behind @outta_angst and @beau_trl .... Staying busy behind the scenes he came up with / helped get a more professional and easy to read championship ladder in April of 2012 and also helping put together the hall of fame. In October of 2013 Assetto Corsa on PC became a go to, and a series was devised with growing grids and some fast drivers. This is where he really stamped his mark, check out this record. Congrats Boss man! Not only a super quick driver, but another member who does so much behind the scenes.
Yeew thanks guys chuffed with this induction It's been a great ride with great company. That Pagnian race was definitely a highlight and a confidence booster. Cheers to many more good times with the ROOZ crew.
Congratulations @KoAStR , I have never raced with yiubutknowyou at a very important member of the ROOZ team.well done.
Well done K. Cant say I have raced against you but i have raced in the same room as you and only ever see you when you lap me . Well deserved and cant wait to get back into AC in near future.
Well done @KoAStR Ive only done a couple seasons here but have had some great battles with you already, pretty darn quick field in AC and to finish ahead of koastr you need to put in a perfect race. Hard to put in enough of these races in a season to beat him but a single bad race is pretty much end of the season for most mere mortal challengers.
@KoAStR Its been fun getting beaten by you for the last 10+ seasons mate, your a freak. Looking forward to chasing your tail in the seasons to come. A true alien if i ever saw one Congrats
Have really enjoyed the AC league and plenty of you guys like @marty @Cherno @Shaun_A @R0T0R-AU86 and many more with thier own moments pushing the envelope like @Tovey_4saken @Anon666 and @Rolz which has been great to encourage progression to stay in the running. Had to develop with it. That's what it's all about.
