Sorry can't make it tonight was planning on getting the DLC today with my pay but my pay wont be put in my bank till tomorrow so I'll be good to go next fortnight
when that news came in I was stressin I wouldn’t make it back home. Stay safe @garyw61 and anyone else in SA.
I’m in the Beamer tonight, unlike Bounty I don’t drive one in real life, so it’s just a picture on the screen for me.
Thanks for last night gents, have to say that is some of the best racing entertainment I have had in a while. Hopefully in the future we have a dedicated GT4 series. looking forward to Kyalami.
I have big plans for next year. especially when the British GT DLC is available and rumours are it includes the Mustang.
If people raced like their lives depend on it.... The standard would improve overnight. Rage quit for the first time ever in an online event. Really disappointing to see the attitude of some. Maybe sprint races bring out the bad habits. Not sure I'll be doing round 2.....
Agree mate, I was taken out very early in the last race, some of the dive bombing is quite adventurous at times. Anyway, hopefully as this is still all new the driving standards will improve or through the protest system be managed with appropriate actions. It’s the only way, rage quitting as you know leaves you feeling more empty than getting punted.
how can people's lives depend on it when it's not real & it's all just a bit of fun? what's real is the community of people in it & so for me, despite having enormous respect for others on track last night, early on in race 3 i've lost control of the car, managed to get it moving away from others only to hit the wall & ricochet back into someone else & basically ruin their own race! faaaaaaaaaaaaark all the lessons that need to be learnt about consideration for humans can be very easily forgotten in the moment when winning is the goal & yes, i agree that really short sprint races bring out the worst kind of desperation to win
